So one of our drivers knocked down some power lines today. So while he was waiting there for things to get resolved some idiot just drives right over the lines. Then after one of them snapped back and hit his car he gets out amongst the power lines to yell at our driver for scratching his car and says he's gunna file an insurance claim against us

Yeah that would be my response too. I pee pretty frequently as long as I am being good about staying hydrated. It would be rough to work in an environment with no bathroom. I would not be happy about that arrangement.

there are two main ways a word becomes a slur: it is accepted terminology repeatedly used in a derogatory fashion, or it plays to some stereotype.

"retard" "idiot" "hysterical" are all good examples, and they're not even racially charged.

Fun fact, "hysteria" originated as a medical diagnosis that essentially equated to "This woman is on her period and she needs to get laid or something, she's fucking bonkers" for which, i shit you not, the chief treatment was manual stimulation by a physician.
