i didn't realize you'd never tried that before, or i would have suggested it. i was surprised the first time i wanted painkillers, and even just a specific treatment, because my CNP reacted the same way. I have a hunch that they're so used to dealing with people who don't know shit about their own condition that they just assume if you say things like "i dont think this is working" that you're actually not sure (which is not very useful to them), as opposed to just politely suggesting that they find something else.

So half of the company I work for was laid off today... one of the many layoffs we've had this year. While I wasn't included in their numbers, the writing is on the wall.
Don't know what I want to do today other than stare at the ceiling and plan about what I am going to do in the coming months.

It sucks, I liked this job.

I was speaking in regards to California. My understanding is it is pretty rare to get anything from insurance from a lane splitting accident if you're the biker

It's estimated to be 103 on monday where I work. My office has no AC right now and there are 3 of us crammed into a 14x14 office. 3 computers, 8 monitors, 3 upses. it's going to suck

Today it was 122 degrees in Vegas, and my car's AC was out while I had to drive around town for 40 minutes doing errands. So I understand your AC problem in the office =X.

Yeahhh, my car's AC works here in Vegas, but once it gets over 100, it no longer even matters. It can't even keep up with that temperature and I usually just end up turning it off and opening the windows. First chance I get, I'm leaving this city. >.>

No recirculate function in your car? Assuming your A/C isn't totally shot, that should help cool down the interior significantly over the course of a few minutes.

I have no idea. My car is fairly old (1997) and I have no money to really take it anywhere to have it looked at. The AC blows cold air, but it just does not feel cold at all inside my car in the heat here usually. I probably need to have tint on the windows redone or something too, idk.
