Theres a simple explanation for this. People are forgetful. She probably just forgot your name and your profile pic doesn't help. If she saw you in town she'd probably have the lightbulb moment again.

I feel you. I've been hospitalized twice for having Pulmonary Embolism and am on Warfarin permanently (or until the new drugs like Xarelto actually have an antidote/more research).

i've been lucky and skipped the embolism so far. but i'm the only person i know that's had this and hasn't died, stroked out, had the clot hop to their lungs, or had surgery. i'm happy with the surgery option, this is a fucking pain in the ass.

True. I just don't get how bad your memories can be. Actually a couple of years ago ran into a girl that used to flirt with me a lot in HS but I was too socially retarded to recognize/do anything about it and would give me rides home a bit or invite me over whenever I walked by and she was on the way to school... and totally didn't remember me at all. Though tbf at that time I was like 100lbs heavier than when she knew me in HS but still cmon

I am fucking horrible with names. I always keep the wife near whenever I go to any functions, that way if I forget the person's name, I'll introduce them to my wife and they will shake her hand tell her their name.
