it was pretty satisfying. probably one of the most entertaining calls I've had in a while.

Get called a "fucking whore" and hung up on LOL. It's amazing how many women I reach who get riled up because I call asking for their significant other then find out I'm just calling about their car but this one takes the cake. Added to do not call list lol.

ah, today is the day my brain decided to dissolve the boundary between paranoid insecurity and reality. this should be fun; haven't had one of these episodes in a while. hopefully I don't lose any friends this time! I think I'll try and leave my phone off today so I can put a buffer between my crazy and the world.

Found out I might owe the VA $2500 for their fuckup.

I went to school for 2 semesters on my dad's GI bill to pick up a couple technical certifications. Right from the first housing allowance I got, I called them and said "Hey, this payment is more than you guys quoted me, I just want to make sure everything is right." They assure me it's all good. Now, 6 months after I'd already finished, they call me back telling me they accidentally paid me too much for my housing allowance and that I have to pay them back.

There goes all the cash I had saved up from my second job.

Moved into a new apartment. The complex is only a year old, and I'm now the second in my unit. Freezer/refrigerator doesn't freeze/refrigerate, washing machine doesn't agitate. Cable hookup where I was going to put my wireless doesn't work. Luckily washing machine was apparently just a setting (why is it even possible to turn agitation off) but the fridge will need replacing.

Oh, and I'm on huge spider #4. I'll just burn the place down at #5. Probably be a mercy.

I've wanted to get a dog for awhile, and I'd actually planned on getting one next spring. But, this apartment is still new so no pets. But...it's literally a block from the local shelter and I have to drive past it every day.

Actually happens a lot in the military. And they sometimes try to make it sound like it was your responsibility to make sure they did it right. Of course if it's an error not in your favor they probably wont even acknowledge it let alone fix it when you find the mistake for them

idk how it is dealing with the VA, but whenever Mayo Clinic sends me a stupid bill, I just flat out tell them "I can't pay this. You need to fix it." and just repeat that over and over until they fix it. Or send it to collections, who eventually just send my file back to mayo and tell them "he can't pay this. fix it."

So for last week or so my lower left leg's circulation has been shit. Not so much it goes numb but enough I can feel the build up in pressure and it's decently colder and my left foot starts swelling. Which since I already have wide feet and apparently not normal foot proportions starts making that toe rub hard into the shoe and heck even the sock seem starts getting to me. Only really seems to happen when I'm sitting at work with shoes (any shoes even my boots) on... but chair hasn't changed and neither have shoes and loosening them hasn't helped and a little bit when I'm riding my bike home but that's probably a bit of just pushing hard

Last time I had a foot swell was because of a tiny hairline fracture - consider getting checked out for whatever it is, swollen feet are no joke

If it is circulatory, make sure you get it checked out. A DVT clot breaking up and going into the lungs for a pulmonary embolism (I've had two) can be lethal. I am going to second the dr. visit.


Edit: If you feel lightheaded (more than just head rush from standing up), woozy, or can't catch your breath; make sure to call an ambulance immediately.

Well here's the thing. I'm completely fine the rest of the time. Take shoes off fine. Sitting in pretty much anyway that isn't my legs hanging over a hard chair like say putting my right leg/foot under it, fine. I often just prop my legs onto desk anyways. Biking standing or sitting on those tiny bike seats fine unless I'm pushing 20+ MPH for extended periods. Running/walking fine. Oddly wearing pants particularly tighter ones also make it more noticeable but it's warm so I'm in shorts whenever I can. So basically only really an issue at work and for however long it takes to get it back. At first I thought I was sitting too much but I get up and run up and down the stairs almost every hour so idk

Well and by fine I mean everything minus the swelling. Some Feet swelling is kind of normal for me especially during warmer seasons pretty much anytime I'm wearing closed shoes for long it's just right now this foot is doing it more and I got shoes that would fit right normally

switched one medication into the same medication but split into two components because taking them separately is easier on the kidneys. I had copay assistance with the last medication, now I have none. went from 0 to 150 a month. o.O


so I called my doctor to switch back because we thought this might happen and the benefit to switching is minimal (as long as you monitor the kidneys, which we do with a blood draw every six months, you should be ok) and she's on vacation >_> a nurse said her team will "take care of it" but I'm like, yeah, I need a refill by the end of the week and I don't trust you guys...


it'll end up ok. I'm sure of it. just a lot of anxiety and headache. I should have stayed on the original med damnit


first world problem because in Africa they're like "you got aids? LOL U DED" so I can't really complain
