Ya
Nah
Meh
I usually leave myself on but I'm never there. I do get pings on my phone though.
Double what Bane said. Try contacting some outreach programs at College of the Canyons (http://www3.canyons.edu/Offices/PIO/...C/k12arts.html) or Cal State Northridge. There may be some undergrads who need experience that may be willing to volunteer and build up a portfolio of work.
And your course doesn't have to be a credited course. Extra curricular drama still enriches. I have done both in high school and both are equally beneficial and educational. Plus it's good padding on the college applications.
Don't let this small setback bring you down. You have a vision that focuses on acting. The other teacher wants to go the music route. Both are different disciplines. Music and drama can be integrated but it isn't necessarily hand-in-hand for performing arts.
Whelp looks like we are losing a driver at work. Apparently guy goes MIA sometime over the weekend. Family has no idea what's going on and apparently trying to call him a bit but not answering. Doesn't show up on Monday or yesterday but apparently used the company credit card to book a hotel room. I guess sometime last night eventually made it home but isn't talking to boss or family.
Granted he was kind of an idiot who couldn't follow simple directions and didn't understand the very simple concepts like you write down subtotals then add them together for final instead of just writing the final total several times <.<. Or that rate was different than amount. Or go in the order you are given. But at least he could drive a route sort of. Now we gotta call in the part time guy a bunch which probably means I'll be doing a bit of the work he'd normally do on top of my own again.
This shit better not fuck with my vacation
Had to drive to Texas from Florida for a business deal. In Louissiana I'm driving behind another car that passes me going at what seems like 90. Cop clocks that car at 87, but decided to pull me over instead. I point to my dashboard and show him the car stating 79mph as that was the speed my cruise control was set at since the limit is 75mph. The dude with a straight face tells me that doesn't mean anything because his gun said I was doing 87mph. I get out of the car as he requests and give him all of the paperwork. Dude writes me a ticket for speeding at 87mph, this is my first ticket ever as I'm a CDL A driver. I guard my license just as much as I value my life. Fucker has the balls to tell me just call this number and this ticket will not affect your CDL because you were driving a regular car instead of a commercial vehicle. I have family members in the force, but this guy can go suck a bag of dicks. Fucking bullshit is going to cost me like 500+ to make sure it doesn't go on my record.
If you just show up to fight it decent chance you will win. A lot of places are notoriously bad at keeping up with the PMS/calibrations on those so it's quite possible that he was actually pointing at you and it read wrong. Remember an article not that long ago about how several departments in the Bay area basically never calibrated their shit but signed off that they did and had been doing so for years. Bam years worth of speeding tickets retroactively negated
Yeah, surprised you didn't ask him when the last calibration was.
Ohh I would absolutely totally go fight it if it wasn't because of how far it is from where I live. It would mean having to drive about 800 miles to show up in court. That could lose me anywhere from 1-2 days worth of work, is a stupid judicial system in the era of technology. Courts should utilize tools like skype/FaceTime to allow people to fight citations/small claims. I knew right off the bat he was an asshole Melena and maybe I should have. Honestly in my interactions with DoT officials/law enforcement I try not to argue and just go about my day.
Wife wants to go to a friend's show tonight on the LES, but I just want to go home and play Overwatch.
Oh Ksandra, another thing you may want to do is hit up local music instructors to your area. A lot of them will do discounted or free work for your production so long as they get a prominent advertisement for the show. Where I live, we have a Piano instructor who has done Piano pieces for my high school's choir as well as musicals and other productions for the last 20 years as a volunteer, and in exchange her music school is listed front and center as a sponsor of the arts. So don't be afraid to make some calls.
Also Zatho, hit up a traffic lawyer in that area. Most of them for a hundred bucks or so will represent you so you don't have to appear and take care of everything.
Thanks for the tip Melena I'll look into that the second I get back home in a few hours.
a true FWP: the mods i want to use for KSP arent updated, im too excited about civ 6 to enjoy civ 5, and i keep starting over in stellaris because i get over-ambitious and stall my development.

Chosen to interview for my supervisor's position. Interview cancelled, budget constraints are going to keep them from filling the spot for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile I'm not only not brought up to the supervisor role, but employees who were hired after me are now granted full federal status while I'm still a contractor.
SO - I'm done working at OSG, who in the greater DC Metro area has a job for an attorney?
