"I'll repair it myself": you should have politely told them to fuck off when they said that.

My wife has bought a little wagon thing to transport garbage to the dumpster since we have a communal one and it's like 150-200 metres away from our house. I am undecided if this is win or fail but right now I am just walking garbage down there out of stubborness.
Ended up putting an offer down on the $20k cheaper home. It was fabulous! Keep the fingers crossed the sellers accept. We actually met them and they seemed really nice. They were an older couple that just gave the feel they weren't trying to be greedy, but wanted to move quickly. All the remodels they did were done by professionals and with high-quality items.
I found out what was deal with the other home. Apparently it's actually owned by the HOA association. No one lives there. Which makes more sense as to why the work was half-assed. It looks like the association just bought it and did some quick fixes to try and sell it for a profit.
I am not sure why that's even legal, but ya...
Good luck. Seriously rooting for you on this one.
Might have a cavity or something. 2nd molar on the left side giving me shit lately
Realtor says it's no problem to get it back. She said they are required by contract to give it back in three days. She's going to try and use the same escrow company tough to get them to just move the money over to the new paperwork.
This one is a regular sale. The short sale one was no good. Too many repairs to make it livable.
nice is it in silver lake?
So there's a local dentist office that offers free exam/xray for first timers and then will quote you on the results of the exam.
Turns out they wanted to do $1,900+ of work to my mouth. I told the lady if she wanted to rob me, she could have at least pointed a gun at me and I'd have felt better about it, lol.
2 grand is a no go on my end. Got myself some breakfast and went home, lol
dental work is so fucking expensive, even with insurance.
That's a scam. Was it called VitalDent or something similar? They alway do that shit. It's a Spanish company that thrived on financing people's dental work with ridiculous surcharges and usurious interest rates. They were shut down in New York for shady business dealings.
Not sure of the financing, but the dental place was called Aspen
https://www.aspendental.com/
Judging by BBB, it's a scam and shouldn't be trusted.
lol yeah I had no plans on ever giving them 2 grand. Back to the drawing board
CS what is your job / insurance situation? Or are you still a student?
Uninsured and making enough pretty much to pay the bills/put food on my table.
Not in school though trying to get into a master's or PHD program. My bachelor's is generalized not specialized, so can't do much w/ it. Didn't get into pharmacy school as planned, so currently no clue what I want to do w/ my life, lol. So I'm pretty much just getting by
you should strip like channing tatum
YO THE FUCKING BANK WITH MY MORTGAGE.
It's one thing after another. I have my bank approval. I have my board approval. Bank needs one item after another. They know my goddamned rate expires 8/28. My attorney goes out of town on 8/29-9/5.
They are currently waiting on the insurance policy on the building, which was changed last year, so the bank has outdated info. Now everyone's scrambling to get it from the fuckin office. The guy isn't picking up! Arg. Tyven I see what you meant now.
Granted I can extend the rate for another 30 days for like $200, but I don't want to pay it if I don't have to. Goddammit.
Agree. Sank 1k this year into 7 cavities, a deep cleaning and regular cleaning.
Edit: knowing CS hasn't been to the dentist and almost fucking forever that actually sounds about right.
Edit 2: pretty sure I told CS this before, too, but even having a bachelors opens a lot of fucking doors so don't think you don't have options.
He just kinda lazy and don't want to work
Went to dentist today for first time in years myself. Need two teeth pulled which is lame, but was expecting it. Also have like 4 small cavities that dont need to be serviced ASAP. Annoyed that I've already had 2 wisdom teeth out and one of the teeth that needs to come out needs to come out because one of last 2 wisdoms is skullfucking it and has destroyed the root.
Anyway, dental coverage so far seems good. Was like a $50 deductible which I hit today. Going back for a cleaning Thursday AM cuz why not. Teeth pull gonna wait until I save up some more sick leave. Have already used a bunch these past two weeks on like 6 Dr appts since I finally have A+ insurance instead of bottom barrel.
