Wish I had gone with a deductible plan instead of the HMO where it only pays a percentage. Next year.

I have HMO for health but it is like near toppest tier of harvard pilgrim so lol
Yikes what kind of dentists are you guys going to? Without insurance my dental cleanings are like $50 and the one time I needed a cavity filled it was around $110.
CS I would stress do whatever you can to get dental stuff fixed. It ain't nothing to fuck with, especially if it gets abcessed. Now you are talking a world of pain and potential life threatening stuff. You only get one mouth, don't fuck it up forever.
My teeth must be really fucked up because the last time they quoted me for dental work it was in the neighborhood of $11k. I mean granted, I know my teeth are fucked up and I need root canals on most of my teeth, I have that big gap in my front tooth, need my remaining wisdom teeth pulled, and a few other things, but goddamn. I think just getting them all pulled and getting dentures might be cheaper.
I also don't have dental insurance. The VA covers my healthcare, but not my dental or eye care. I'll probably just get on the school board's dental/eye plan though.
So been cleaning house and find some old mail I apparently had never looked thru (going thru some rough stuff back then kind of surprised I even checked my mail box lol) and hey there's a letter from CA Governor's scholarship programs. Basically back in middle school I won a scholarship for doing well on SATs and they invested it so it could get a little interest until I used it. Well apparently the letter was to tell me it had gotten up to 3k.... and that I had until a couple of years ago to use it. RIP potential monies
My dentist kept ripping me off requiring me to get a gum cleaning every 3 months. Insurance only covered 2 visits and they wanted me to pay $80 for the 2 uninsured visit. I told them I would stop seeing them if they insisted on the 3 month cleaning schedule and I'm back on a 6 month schedule... ugh that was an expensive time when I had invisalign. At least insurance covered 1/3rd of the cost for orthodontics.
went in for my 6 month teeth cleaning yesterday. it was fuckin free .99 and also i have no upcoming work that needs to be done so there you go guys.
You guys have awful teeth.
Jesus. Brush your shit.
I do now, twice a day, floss in evening. Been ridiculously good about it given that I didn't have any real routine for years and years.
Sick less often, too. Big improvement.
One of the few things to be grateful for about the military.
motherfucker if I sent you an email from a shared email box, DO NOT take my email address from my signature and send directly back to me. that is some fucking annoying bullshit. and what if I leave for the day? there's a reason we used a shared email box you twatfucks.
that is all.
That's fucking awesome Ksandra! Congratulations!
This happens all the time in my office. I work in IT and there are two of us. There are days when one of us work where the other doesn't. We have a general tech support email for all support emails. I often get tech related questions in my personal email sometimes on weekends when I don't work. It is really confusing when it is an emergency item like broken credit card machine or crashing computer... My coworker is there on weekends if they just emailed our main email they would get help right away.
grats yo!
