Had only a swipe lock on my work phone because it was annoying me to check emails otherwise. I'm on call this week so it comes with me everywhere 24/7.

On the way back from lunch, SOMEHOW, my phone managed to unlock itself and send a picture of me and my girlfriend (along with random letters and numbers) to pretty much the ENTIRE Chandra project and like some NASA team members, all from my butt pocket.

I'm actually dead now. I have died. I am typing this as a ghost of a man who died from sheer embarrassment.

Thankfully no, as this was a work phone. We were just testing the S7 camera one night. Just a cheesy, fully-clothed, smiley picture.

I had an old nokia phone years ago back when texts were not free that I somehow butt texted like 10 dollars worth of texts to a friend, so I started using the lock feature, which involved hitting star and 2 numbers to unlock. Damn star button wore out and took me like 10 minutes to unlock the phone one night.

Yeah I feel your pain. Hope it doesn't create too much fall out for you. I remember watching a "reply to all" fiasco unfold at my old work that involved an email out to the entire company (~6,000+) email accounts that ended up crashing the whole email server for quite some time.

Re-imaged an employee's laptop while she was out on vacation, I informed her before hand to back everything up. Gets it back today, asks where her files are.

This is why I always backup a laptop before re-imaging it just in case. I have had so many users who do not back up their stuff even when I tell them I have to re-image their machine.

We don't have the means. Hell until I came along, everyone had different model PC's and the IT person was using an old version of Ghost to network restore. Now we all get the same stuff, and I have a 5 drive Kanguru duplicator with separate hard drives for each image. She just learned a very valuable lesson that if it's important, store it on the network.
