I mean 5-8m isn't that much, but if a truck were merging left in front of me when I was that close I'd back the fuck off.
At car shop waiting... and my current mobile entertainment (ff exvius) is in 2x extended maintenance. Fml I may have to look at email or something!
People are fucking dumb. One of the most gruesome accidents I witnessed was a semi vs an SUV. I don't know how it happened but the hood of the SUV was crushed down like it was a sedan with the semi sitting on top of it. I don't even know if the driver of the SUV lived but it was ugly.
That said, while the vast majority of big rig drivers are great drivers, my 3-5 trips a year down I-5 in California to go to Disneyland I've seen some fucking retarded drivers as well.
Distant Worlds was always one of my favorite XI songs.
I've been listening to the Distant Worlds version of the song for a while now and I was going through my music folder today and found the original and couldn't even finish it. DW version ruined it for me the singer is sooooo much better. It's improved in every way.
Lol gonna have to discard the original and pretend like I never heard it
ya, don't fuck with Trucks, man.
the only time i've ever seen a trucker do something shitty was actually very recently. my buddy and his GF and i were driving back from camping and this truck driver was fucking weaving through traffic, cutting people off and speeding and shit. like... dude you're driving a big rig not a fucking Porsche. we googled his company (we didn't catch the phone number on the back, but i did catch the company and truck number), called 'em up, and reported him.
Not surprised if you are a long distance trucker. If you're lucky, you can grab a quick shower at a Travel Authority while you gas up.
We once had a car try to somehow pass us before the merge lane ends. Problem was the front of them truck was already at the point it it ended. And this was leading to an overpass so solid wall on the other side. Yeah they still tried and where ot bottled necked honked at us to idk back up or something
To be entirely honest FNH I couldn't tell you since I drove through the state yesterday going towards PA. I'm not even going to lie about it, showering every 3-5 days is pretty standard for most interstate truckers including myself. I try to be polite and mindful of the small cars at all times. The amount of retard I see driving on a daily basis is shocking to say the least. My fail for the day is I spent 3 hours chaining and covering an awful load today. Felt like I was going to die when I was done. You can make a decent living, but is a rough job on most days. Always remember that things like a blown tire on a semi will decimate you. Please don't be that guy chilling for miles behind a semi..... /facepalm
I don't know what the fuck these women at my office building are eating but our only working bathroom should be declared a radioactive zone WTF.

2 second rule, always! Also, if you can't see their mirrors, they can't see you.
what really pisses me off is people chillin in the left lane. in MN, the left lane is for passing. you pass with a safe margin then you get the fuck over. had some dumbass yesterday just fuckin cruisin in the left lane, people passing him on the right... unless he was going the SAME FUCKING SPEED AS THE PEOPLE RIGHT NEXT TO HIM SO NO ONE CAN PASS.
I feel like I am usually hyper attentive when I travel the Interstate because my truck doesn't have cruise control, so I'm constantly hovering between 60-85mph depending on the flow of traffic. Shit sucks, my feet/ankles get pretty sore after about 3 hours of that.
I would love to see LA try to pass that as a law.
My frequent traffic beef usually involves coming up being people going like 5-10 under speed limit, I change lanes to pass, then suddenly they wanna go 5-10 over. It's just... ugh.
Of late, it feels like some have forgotten the meaning of Yield signs, too. No, it doesn't mean hit the gas and hope you can beat oncoming traffic, while ultimately forcing them to hit their brakes.
First one happens to me when we drive through PA every time. Usually pick up trucks, too.
Second one is exactly what happens in NYC. People don't understand merging onto highways or yield signs. They either try to gun it and make you slow down/speed up to avoid them, or they get to the end of the ramp and have to slam on their brakes and then back up traffic because they can't get up to a proper speed to merge.
Basically everyone is a horrible driver everywhere in the US.
