Get a parking ticket for exceeding the 3 hour time limit after only being parked their for 2. Of course we ended up being there a little over 3 but who the fuck watches that close or cares especially on a street that has 8 places for wine tasting in 2 blocks
That's probably why they watch it. Easy money knowing that most of those who park there are hitting up the wine spots.
Drinking alone and low self esteem don't make for a great combo, lol
Whole time gf was visiting sun didn't come out till noon-2ish so made some beach/river trips more or less a no go. gf went back home early this morning... was hoping for another cool overcast quiet day to veg and sure enough sun wakes me up at around 9.
People at laundromat clearly had no clue how this shit works. You don't get to "hold" the top row dryers until your laundry is done, it's first come first serve. It's empty so I used it, better luck next time. They didn't even load anything until 10 minutes after I loaded all 3 of mine anyway..

Testing equipment at one of out outpatient clinics. Air is on like...80F because it's the weekend and no one's here but me. Fucking ESU tester overheats on me, so I'm sitting on my ass before I hit the last 7 or so exam rooms on this floor.
Is it a FWP when lack of AC during off peak hours makes you take a break so you don't cook off your $30k test equipment?
Trying to sell my camera plus a couple of lenses on craiglist. I am ready to upgrade so I priced it very low just a little bit higher than the camera body alone means the two lenses are virtually free (I say virtually because they add like $50 to the price even though the two lenses are worth at least $150)
Guy comes to look at said camera and lenses for his daughter finds some sort of mysterious "click" in one of the lenses that he doesn't like even though I explained that the lens works perfectly (it does) and the click he is hearing is likely the gyro inside used for vibration reduction or the focus motor engaging.
Spends 20 minutes looking at camera and lens without actually taking a picture to test it and then decides not to buy even though he "really wants it" for his daughter.
I mean I know he has a right not to buy but it is frustrating to take so much time out of my day to show it to him and he isn't even willing to negotiate or make me an offer and his one issue with the entire setup was some phantom made up non issue.
So, we lost a scrubbing bubbles brush head in the toilet. I took the damn thing apart and checked to see if it was still in there, but I think it's worked it's way through the toilet. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem with our plumbing?
Looking at the pipes in the basement, it appears that particular piped goes directly to the septic field. I'm just curious if I have to worry about this or not.
I think if you get yourself into massive debt by refusing to work on your numerous psychological issues and allowing people to take advantage of you relentlessly, and then you neglect to pay one of your massive credit card bills or at least get them consolidated or SOMETHING... I think that when the credit card companies get a legal order on your bank account because of your massive and continuing irresponsible behavior, you don't get to say "omg these assholes hijacked my account"
not me - obvs - a friend of mine. well, not friends anymore. I get that life is shitty sometimes but goddamn, either pick yourself up and figure shit out or just off yourself at this point please
I made the mistake of engaging her on IM at work today :/ within the past five minutes I've gotten a novel-size update on her history as of recently. this is why we let people go, friends. this is why.
Hold that thought Ksandra another buyer just contacted me and might pick it up but if he doesn't I will message you. As for the other guy he didn't do anything wrong I was just frustrated because I reworked my whole day and made a point to work in a different office in a town 45 minutes from my home that I don't normally work in just to show him the camera.
Sorry Ksandra some crazy *but really nice* guy decided to drive 4 hours down from somewhere north of me to buy the camera on a whim. Gave me my asking price too. I am pretty stoked. Though I am going to miss that camera it was a great camera and I took some great photos with it. Too bad digital doesn't last like film does or I would hang onto the camera.
I didn't think I would feel emotional about selling that camera. Good thing I get to shop for a new one now.
Come into work and my comp is all BSOD. Been restarting and trying to get anything to work for the last 2 hours. Boss keeps telling me for last few months a new comp is in the works but why don't I run some anti virus or something to make it work. Except of course it's lagged out so bad I can't even open a folder let alone a program
