It will be one of our "teacher professional days," most likely. And since we haven't had an actual hurricane hit in a while, they don't actually plan for this. Not the way we used to for snow days when I lived up north.

It has officially arrived now, though, as I opened my door just to peek at the rain and it was basically fucking raining sideways and I got soaked with my door open like 3 inches. It's supposed to be a Cat 1 so I shouldn't have to evacuate or anything.

Despite having to make up the time in the school year later, I really do hope we have tomorrow off too, because then I get a five-day weekend for Legion.

Yeah well, unless I move to Fishkill and buy a real fixer upper small ass house, that isn't an option for me at this point in time. Not looking for a money pit. I'm tired of renting and at least I won't have to deal with roommates or anything anymore. Its about 1000 SF in a nice dead end area. I'm happy about it.

So got new work computer which is a win. But now gotta set it up and install and setup everything which I've never done with a network before. Also never used windows 10 before and fuck is it ugly as sin and annoying

Also boss knows fuck all about the various product keys I'm sure I'll need for various work programs

bruh how did your realtor or lender not notify you when you signed for your loan how much your closing would be? That should have been calculated immediately

You get that information even before your realtor from your mortgage pre-approval, shouldn't even have a realtor yet when you see your rates pmi mortgage and closing estimates.

I used Chase. I mean I got closing cost estimates and such. Was about 3k, I believe. The documents are in a folder I can't get to this minute. However what wasn't on there was shit like the recognition agreement fee ($600) and some other misc. things. Totaled about 4k instead. I sent a copy of my closing disclosure and my closing cost estimate from the start of the loan to my lawyer, he's gonna take a look at it and try to dispute it.

Friend of mine asked me to come along for a few weeks to the gym and show her and her mom the ropes so that they aren't wondering around aimlessly and I'm like sure, I don't mind taking out some time for this.

Anyways, 3 days in and the personal trainer of the gym pulls me to the side and he's like "You can't train your clients here"; but he starts off talking friendly to try to get me to say they're my clients.

They go to the changing room since we're done and I'm getting ready to walk out and he's like "So are those your family members?" if I had known where his line of questioning was going I would have been more rude to him. I wanted to say "Okay let's have this conversation as if both of us have brains, even if you gotta pretend" because obviously fucking not when my friend and her mom are Korean.

So then he's like where do you know them from? I'm like that's a friend of mine I met her at school over at SPC; and then he's like "oh, because you're not allowed to train clients here"

I'm just like nigga look. Go ask everyone here how many business cards I've handed out today and how many people I've offered services to. I'm not a a personal trainer.

So day 2 of trying to set up new computer. Well ok the comp is setup now trying to figure out how to make it work with the network. Never done this before so thought it taking so long was just my lack of experience. Turns out boss got windows 10 home edition which I guess is causing problems?

It shouldn't unless you are trying to connect it to a domain. Unless they changed it after 8, you need professional to connect to a domain. Home can only connect to a workgroup.

If all other PC's connect to a domain, then you are S.o.L. Windows 10 Home cannot in any way connect to a domain.

Edit: You must have the Professional version of the OS. You will probably need to return the PC or purchase an upgrade license for the OS.
