Buying cars is easy, just don't give a shit.
Car I'm interested in has a lien on it. Advice?
Did sort of. Like one of the old workers was a computer guy and step son of boss and did it all but he had this habit of just doing it all expecting he'd be here to handle it later so didn't bother giving certain accesses to others or keeping things like passwords and product keys or whatever around. And well he went off back to school. Here's where it gets real fun it seems he just connected the other accounts to the network without giving them the credentials to actually do anything like join. So hurray got pro and can attempt to connect to network but can't get in
lol wow
Basically you can't sell it until you pay the entirety of the loan. So if something happens to the car and you don't get full value of it back, I believe you're still responsible for paying the bank back. Personally I wouldn't do it. There's tons of cars out there without the headache.
Are you buying certified used? Or just from someone private? If it's private, get it inspected by a mechanic of your choice. You don't want to buy it because it looks fine and it's a POS mechanically. Certified used at least usually has 24~36 mo. warranty at least.
Private, second owner. He bought while it had lien.
Clean title, no accidents, will car fax vin.
Will have inspected, too, good call.
Decent price.
Well in that case it shouldn't be too bad. Honestly have no idea about paying the lender being the 3rd payee, might want to Google that this when when it's paid off you can get the title in your name.
Just drove it.
I liked it. Want it. Will speak yo bank tomorrow. Drove fucking slick as shit.
I asked him to lower the price to 6 and he said it was firm. I asked again in a different way. He said he'd think about it and get back to me. He might lower it some, I don't know.
But I will probably buy it anyway.
did your "different way" involve sexual favors?
Considered it!
oh hohoho, this is fantastic
Hahaha I asked if he'd lower it to a specific amount. He said no price is firm.
I said kbb has it valued between x and x and that I had to watch how much I spent and if he'd consider lowering it all.
He came back with middle ground 6250.
Yay.
Went to a friend's bday party last night. He had some family members over. I wanted to chat up his younger sister, but his aunt got drunk and tried to molester me.
Washed the car and half way through waxing, it decides to rain.
I feel bad for my home area of CT. I've mentioned this before, but it's just gone into such economic depression it's crazy. My mom just told me that one of our family friends' home just sold for 200k. That home was easily 2mil+ about ten years ago.
My HS was one of the top schools in the country when I went there. It was like fourth in the country for it's performing arts program among other things. It's now ranked 4 out of 10, and my mom said it's doing horribly. It may have to lose it's private status just to keep running.
I'm glad I left as my kids would have no future there, but it's sad to see it go this way. It was such an excellent area back in the day.
Dude backed out of the Civic sale.
Considering just buying a new one.
