A section of our restaurant is closed off because it leaks when it rains and the booth is wet/moldy/smells in there, heh.
Awww yea.

Yikes. An anonymous tip to the Health Inspector might be in order.
That's what OSHA said, too.
That's my next step. I don't *need* this job.
Sometimes I think my coworkers in sales forget that they make a shit load more money than us production guys make. For example, while I was mid-conversation with this coworker I got a phone call from my utilities company reminding me that my bill was due.
Coworker: "Haha, did you forget to pay your light bill? Hahaha..."
Me: "I didn't forget. I had to wait until pay day so I'd have money for food and gas in the meantime."
Coworker: "...hahaha...oh..."
Was leaving my gym today, there was a blue Lamborghini with cute teddy bear decals illegally parked in a handicap spot with an "N" hanging inside with no handicap permit. In BC, N's are for new drivers who are just past their learners license but 1-step below a full regular license. So think 16~20 year olds typically.
I hate the world some days.
They are noveau riche Chinese kids. Nothing surprising.
It would be awesome if you could have it towed. That sort of thing would make my day.
Shoulda just taken a picture of the plate and post it on FB.
Shaming on social media is all the buzz these days. Just do it anonymously somehow incase hes some 250 pound monster with no body fat.
ah, one of those days my brain decides to be depressed for no reason. I get to feel sad and tired no matter what I try to do about it.
GG brain. you fucking jerk.
on the bright side, I'm used to this, and am pretty well-equipped to handle it by now. it sucks but it's nothing I can't manage. my only real complaint is that I have a friend in town, leaving tomorrow, and I see her less than once a year - so we are getting drinks tonight whether I want to or not... yay, socializing with depression. SO FUN
Beautiful.
ok now I feel slightly better, thank you <3
What happens in the case that improper towing damages an $80,000 vehicle? Does the owner have an legal recourse?
Yes the company is responsible. All tow truck drivers have to do is look under the vehicle and check the drivetrain, so the company is liable. That picture there, it could have been okay, because he could put dollys under the rear wheels, but I've seen pictures of another GTR getting towed in NYC without them, so I'm making the assumption this one isn't going to get it.
Sometime overnight Adblock or Chrome or both updated something and now I'm seeing fucking ads and I'm so triggered.
I think I remember reading something that AdBlock would let "some good ads" through, but then its not blocking ads, and my toolbar search is broken too cause of this.
In the settings, you can control whether it lets whitelisted ads through or not. or at least, you used to be able to.
So many disrespectful idiots park in the handicap spots at my gym I've honestly wondered what kind of vigilante towing I could do whether calling the police non-emergency line or a towing company or anything. The gym itself doesn't really care and chalks it up to "they're disrespectful Chinese people who don't give a fuck" and just ignores it.
But I feel like if it's a handicap spot, it's up to the people who own the property to do something about it and not something the police can just come in and enforce. I could be wrong though =/
