My "girlfriend" keeps jumping back and forth between being head over heals for me and wanting to be friends. Messing with my week.
When I worked at a DirecTV call center we were trained to NEVER reveal our physical location because of the amount of harassment/threats we would receive. (We would take calls from all over the country.) Apparently someone didn't follow their training and one very irate man showed up looking for a guy who he had been on the phone with, and somehow made it on to the floor despite not having an ID or security badge. Anyways security showed up and tazed the guy, he flopped around for a bit and then got arrested. Fun day at the office. People get MAYAD over their TV.
Correct in most cases. You do not get the discount for AAA accredited places without the membership. But you do not have to have a membership to stay at a AAA rated hotel or use a AAA repair shop. The roadside services depend on the club as some clubs will not send a truck without a membership while others will require a fee that is comparable to the local towing rates. In almost every case, paying for the membership is far cheaper than paying the roadside service fee.
As a side note, if you have a cell phone with a major provider, a warranty from a dealership or car insurance with a major provider, you can call them for roadside assistance and you will most likely get a AAA contractor. It is basically a free AAA membership for you in that the dealership or insurance company pays the bill for you.
Cool, I figured you could. This is the center in question: http://carolinas.aaa.com/about/locat...od-Avenue.aspx
I just don't want to purchase tires to be sent there and then have issues getting them put on, they are like 40 dollars cheaper on installation fee.
Guess I'll give em a call and make sure.
Oh boy, do they ever. My wife works collections for Comcast and has some amazing stories about people flipping the fuck out whenever their cable gets disconnected.
I'm also amazed by how many people try to play the "But I have kids, what are they supposed to do?" card. Gee I don't know lady, what did you do when you were a kid? Maybe you should send them outside to play every once in a while. That's a real first world problem right there.
When I worked at EA back from 99-02, I had people flip there shit all the time. I had one guy say he was going to sue me (not the company but me) because he didn't have a 3D card in his computer and therefore the game he bought wouldn't work. I had an old guy (at least 70) tell me to suck his dick cause I asked for contact information. Had at least one domestic violence call. Favorite but I didn't take it was the guy who called about some flight sim game and never took his flight mask off for the call. He admitted to wearing it while playing to make the game more realistic.... Worst call though was during 9-11 (yes, they kept us open) and took a call with a guy pissed off about a screwed up s/n on his game, and after getting his address realized he was maybe a 1/4 mile or so roughly from the WTC. I really wanted to tell that shit to look out his window cause there are more important things going on then a screwed up s/n on a game he probably pirated.
Sadly they were lying to you if they said they cancelled the membership. It takes an act of God for us to cancel any memberships. We had a guy tell one of our membership folks that he hoped someone broke into her house that night and raped her. I've had a privileged little white kid driving his Dad's Jaguar call in twice in two months and unload on reps. Called them niggers, fucking cunts, threatened to murder a cop. All on a recorded line. Nothing was done. The aforementioned guy that threatened the president remains the only member that we actively cancelled. Otherwise what we do is flag the membership with a do not renew flag. They don't get a bill for the next year. We hope they forget about us. They typically don't. Then they complain about not receiving renewal notices.
It may very well be that the dispatch supervisor was full of shit, but the crazy lady flipped her shit and tried to jump in my truck to attack me. She was arrested but I don't know if any charges stuck. I didn't personally press charges on her. All this because she had a Columbia (local manufacturer) battery but was adamant that it was a AAA battery.
The second one was a family that called every 3 to 4 weeks for warranty service on 3 cars that they only drove at best every 6 months. When I was advised that the warranty was void due to disuse (after at least 10 times of honoring the warranty because AAA customer service), I told the member as much and after some discussion and her refusal to buy a new battery she chased me out of the driveway screaming at me for about a block down the road. When I called in the incident report the supervisor told me she was cancelling the membership.
Maybe it's a little easier to cancel over here on the left coast in AAA Oregon/Idaho club. Maybe the supervisor just wanted me to feel better.
I just had a guy ask me what would happen to his damage complaint if he blew the head off the field rep handling it because he's taking too long. It was just towed down to one of the AAR's yesterday. We should stop talking Ace. It's bringing out the crazies.
One more, then I'll stop.
So the guy that was the CEO of Sony Manufacturing during the original Playstation launch is my unofficial boss. He is able to tell me what to do but never does. Today he was trying to call my direct boss and could not get him to answer his phone. Simple solution was to call me and relay the message since it was time sensitive. He was quite short with me and simply told me to "have Billy call me right away". Right after he said that, my phone disconnected us and he assumed I hung up on him. I tried to apologize and explain, but he was already irritated at my boss so he said "You know Nick, I used to like you but now I'm not so sure" like he meant it...Now I have both people with authority over me pissy at me for something I didn't do.
Welcome to the world my man lol.
As for third world problem. It's hotter in my room with the computer on but I can't just turn it off and go outside, yaknow?
I have had to clean 4 stinky ass nasty poops today (baby's, not mine...). Trying to figure out wtf she ate that caused this madness!
Random question about babies: When you breast feed (hurr breasts) do the poops not have any odor? But when you switch to bottles/formula/etc, that's when they get all nasties?
Ugh, babies.
