Being in the dark was more my concern over not being able to flush. Although where I live now my water is separate, all my life growing up we had well water so no electricity = no water.
I was able to salvage the pizza though cause it came back on pretty quick.

If pooping in the dark scares you, you would not like my bathroom right now. We are in the middle of a remodel/addition so our bathroom is completely 'outside' of the house at the moment. No walls just the floor is left. Which also means no lights.

It's way too fucking hot to do anything but I can't complain much because this is one of maybe 4 days all summer it got over 90. No A/C sucks but at least it's cooling down next few days.

i got one of those nightlight things that has a battery in it and if you unplug it you can use it as a flashlight


it's in my bathroom for when my guts wake me up at night, but it's be just as handy in a power outage.
