So decide to try and bike with flip flops today since last few times with shoes seems to cut off circulation in left foot. Worked fine got some food then went to nearby store to pick some stuff up bike perfectly fine. In the few minutes I was in the store fucking tube once again failed just sitting there. Again for like the 3rd or 4th time in a row it was around the junction of the tube and valve. Definitely time to try new type of tubes I guess. But yeah ended up having to walk my bike home for about 3 miles in flip flops with a backpack full of stuff. Fun times. Of course if it wasn't for the stupid train running nowadays it would only have been 2 miles but they fenced up the path where the tracks break up a street

While I definitely agree teachers are on their own time, there is one thing that bothers me about Aks' teaching mentality. Do you not teach middle school? Have you had any lessons at some point in proper email formatting and etiquette? Do not be upset about him spam emailing you because that seems young to know how to email properly in the first place. That's something I've found to be widely overlooked in teaching which is dumb considering how big work emails are for many careers. Stop getting angry at kids who don't know how to do something, and start figuring out the best way to teach them. For the whole class btw.

As an aside, when I worked at the private school it was policy to respond to all emails within 48 hours. And I got way more then than I do now. I kept that as my own personal policy because I found it really wasn't all that time consuming, and was great for respect-building among students. It would have taken you less than three minutes to say, "Hi, I got your emails, but I will be unavailable to update grades until next week. If your have any questions, please see me on Monday. Yours, X" Keep in mind, kids are used to texting, not emailing. Show them the right way to do it.

As someone who gets upwards of 200 emails a day, at any time of day, 3 or 4 sounds like paradise.
