I don't smoke cigarettes. Never have, never have any intention to do so. My roommate asked me to pick him up a pack of smokes on my way home from work. So I go to buy them, and the clerk actually tries to convince me not to buy them, tells me how bad they are, and about how his great-grandma outlived his grandma because of her smoking habit. Yo, I don't disagree with anything he said, but what kind of store clerk tries to stop somebody from buying something like that? Do you smokers get this a lot? I feel like this would be really annoying.

People give me the same kind of reaction when I express my interest in doing meth.

so this company regularly sends us bad information. they gave us an email address to contact when we get the bad information. they also gave us a phone number to escalate to if they don't respond to the email. and now today when I called that phone number she asked me to escalate to another area.


yeah, fuck that. how about you either a) send us the correct data the first time or b) escalate your own fucking bullshit. we are here to process your files, not untie your tangled web of internal contacts. we told you the info was bad, you can figure out what you wanna do with that on your own time. peace out

Been smoking for 20 years and never had a clerk comment on it before. I did have one try to talk me out of buying a widescreen VHS (target or something) because "they cut off the picture on those".
