We determined from the test server that when there are no options for the higher NPC to display, he always gives only the highest level synth.

Edit: also, we figured out all of those level 102 synths are at least 103. is that what he meant?

Isula Sideboard is not lsited by comprehensive npc, the Veteran npc gives it to me.

I would like to point out that the synth recipe for breidox is wrong on the wiki:

currently: fire, 4x adaman ingot, 3x gold ingot, 1x jacaranda lumber

correct: fire, 2x thokcha ingot, 1x dark adaman ingot, 1x rosewood lumber

To the people hitting T1 on certain Hexed pieces, does that involve acquiring a +2 skill Torque for the relevant sub crafts?

It would depend what your base level is. You need a torque to skillup on a Tier 1 hexed synth, at least. For instance, I'm Tier-1ing Hexed Nails right now, which is a 105 cap. 104 skill + 3 support + 4 gear + 5 moghouse = 116 skill, so I am tier 1 on it even though it gives me skillups. I have gotten 0.9 skill and made 2 pairs of Hexed Nails -1 so far.

Ok, to be more specific, I'm 104 Gold right now and BGWiki has Hexed Gambieras listed as 103 Gold with an Unknown Leathercraft sub. So I hit T1 on the Goldsmithing side of it, but since the Leathercraft sub is unknown, If it's above 60 I might not actually be T1 on it due to the Leather sub. Do the Hexed Nails have a sub craft?

I just hit 103 on Sealord Leathers and had a couple extra skins left. I got another .1 up after hitting 103. So I can confirm Sealord Leather is at least 104.

I have more Leathercraft information for you.

@ 103 Leathercraft, I checked NPCs at the guild (the Mithra that gives entire list) and the Tarutaru that gives recepies 1-4 levels above.

1. Confirmed Attacker's Mantle is 103 (via Mithra NPC)
2. BOTH Sealord Leather recepies are mentioned by the Tarutaru NPC. I'm going to assume the Windy Tea Leaf recepie is 104, and Willow Log recepie is 105 until proven otherwise as I skill up.
3. Urja Gloves, Urja Ledelsens, and Urja Jerkin are all mentioned by the Taru NPC. Urja Jerkin may actually be 106 cap, and not 105 as previously thought. Urja Gloves and Urja Ledelsens are probably 104-105 but not sure at this point in time which caps at what number.
4. Other items Taru NPC mentions: Phos Belt, Hexed Boots - I'm going to assume Hexed Boots are 107. And has Phos Belt been confirmed 100% as having 105 cap as previously mentioned in earlier posts?

2. Confirmed Urja Gloves cap @ 104
3. New item mentioned by the Tarutaru NPC (1-4 levels above current level) - Hexed Tekko, which means cap @ 108
4. Items still mentioned by the Tarutaru NPC - Phos Belt (105 cap), Hexed Boots (107?), Urja Ledelsens (105?), Urja Jerkin (106?)

Also just asking; I got frustrated going after dragon fruit (That place is really annoying to HELM) but where does dragon fruit au lait cap, if anyone knows? Just curious. I don't think it's a viable skillup anymore due to annoyance, unless you got more patience than me!

I think best bet for most ppl is to go straight to Smoldering Salisbury Steak and make up the gil, it's a loss on Quetz. ^^

Dragon Fruit au Lait caps at 105. Dragon Fruit Tank caps at 109. I think the problem with the Salisbury Steak is that Cerberus Meat just doesn't get out up on the AH..

I've seen some JPs in whitegate spamming their Dragon Fruit Tanks out. That looks like a pretty cheap synth if you do that, eh?
