Wow, thought this would've been out here by now considering it's EU release was quite a while ago.
Agree it's the weakest of the three. But it's still a game worth playing. I'm enjoying it, albeit very slowly as I tend to lose interest after a couple of dungeon runs and I don't have a lot of time anyway. The race against the clock reminds me a bit of Majora's Mask lol. It's really just another timed dungeon crawler with some interesting mechanics, which are occasionally very annoying if only due to the usual Wii gimmicks.
I just hope at some point they delve more into the characters' histories. I feel like I don't know anything about them so it's hard to care what they're going through at times.
Aside from the fact that I have started both Xenoblade AND Last Story and have yet to beat either of them, I should wait to pick this one up but it looks awesome. Reading around it seems to be the general consensus that its the worst of the O:R games and it should be thought of as an action game with some RPG elements sprinkled in. Yeah... getting this day one. xD
i really hope no one refers to any of these games as Operation: Rainfall games.
They didn't do anything to get the games over here.
why? It brought the games to my attention, and I've bought all three specifically because of it. I'm physical proof that it wasn't nothing. 3 games released, 3 games bought, that's something. I don't know if it helped getting them released here, but it was the reason I bought them.
http://gematsu.com/2013/04/pandoras-...-north-americaPandora’s Tower, the third Wii RPG in a set of games campaigned by Operation Rainfall for localization in North America, is now available in the region courtesy of XSEED Games.
The Ganbarion-developed game was released first in Japan on May 26, 2011, and in Europe and Australia last year. It follows Aeron, who must free the woman he loves from a wicked curse by defeating giant monsters and collecting their flesh.
“We are pleased to be able to bring Pandora’s Tower to fans,” said Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of XSEED Games. “It is a cherished and beloved game that has made its mark within the gaming community, so we couldn’t be more thrilled to have a hand in its US release to allow for even more gamers to enjoy its allure.”
