Finally WWE official has announced that Japanese Golden Star Kota Ibushi will join upcoming WWE Cruiser weight classic.

Ibushi has revealed on Tokyo Sports who contacted him for the tournament.

He said it is his great rival “Finn Balor”.

Finn made a phone call to Ibushi on last February. He said “WWE wants to contact you”.

Ibushi said Finn is the only foreign guy who he knows the phone number.

And he said the story at backstage of NXT Takeover Dallas. When he went to the backstage, he did “High five” to a big man. The big man was “Vince Mcmahon”. Ibushi didn’t know who he is. So the staffs of WWE were really upset.

At that time, WWE made a offer him. But he refused it.

Then WWE kept offering him and he finally accepted it.

Ibushi doesn’t speak English at all. So he wants to bring someone living in Singapore for this tour.

Tokyo Sports reported that Ibushi has signed only for CWC yet. He said “I have something left which I have to do here in Japan.”

The Vince part is legit hilarious.

Oh my GOD. Kushida/Ospreay was a fun match especially when it got going. This ladder match though. It's a lot different layout to a normal WWE ladder match. I think they could have done some stuff cleaner (no pun intended), but omg at some of that stuff.

Okada's winning G1, not Kenny, but now he's "available" and could win his block or at least contend.

Yeah, look for the main event too, at least the 2nd half of that match. I don't think I watched either tag match, but I'd say main event + IC + Junior Heavyweight match are all worth seeking out.

oops. Still looking to be Okada/Naito somehow, unless CHAOS implodes and Ishii becomes the challenger, which I'd love, but I'm just talking out my ass thinking that's possible.

Okada can lose it and/or briefcase can change hands, but we'll see.

Tonights card looks good on paper for WWE, but I have no confidence they do anything meaningful anymore.

Really anyone but Alberto Del Rio winning MITB would be fine, so he's probably gonna win it. But I'm fantasy booking Ambrose to win.
Rollins/Reigns has screwy finish with no clear cut winner. Rematch at Battleground goes the same way. Rematch at SummerSlam and Ambrose cashes in MITB for Shield Triple Threat at SummerSlam.
