General WWE Discussion: Roman Weeps, Taker Retires, MNK/SAM/RDM LFP

So WWE announces a cruiserweight division for Raw, but there are only 5 guys on Raw that even fit the 205 weight requirement they're using in the CWC. They didn't think this out very well.

And two of them are tag team wrestlers (Xavier and Enzo)

Finn, Neville, Sin Cara, Enzo, and Xavier are the 205 and under guys on the Raw roster.

Edit : true to form apparently who to draft from NXT was still bring discussed like an hour prior to the start of Smackdown. AND THEY SETTLE ON FUCKING MOJO?

Besides the obvious of US/IC champ being brand exclusive, rest is up in the air but I'd definitely assume well see some kind of split of the WWEWHC.

I'm confused how the women will be handled. Unless they add the Divas title back in just a few months after killing it the Smackdown girls won't have anything to do but engage in Total Divas storylines I guess?

In the original draft, the women's champion would appear on both shows much like the WWE champion. I'm guessing they'll probably do that, or have the women on SD compete to get the title shot at the occasional multi brand PPV show for a chance to bring the women's title to SD.

I assumed they wouldn't stick with the 205 limit and would go to 220 or so. Between this and that chart, I am expecting trades to fix some of this idiocy.

Bryan Alvarez reported that they didn't finish the rosters till like 6:50pm eastern. NXT people were the last to be decided. At one point, they were going to call up Jordan and not Gable.

According to Meltzer, Cesaro's promo was 100% a shoot. But seems like WWE is kosher with it since they put it up on their youtube channel

Yeah with how much they are posting it all over their social media if it was a shoot it was one they were perfectly okay with.

They are also playing up the Heath Slater being a free agent thing on wwe.com too with one article saying he's already in talks with EVOLVE, and talking to Regal about his contacts with the UK promtions PROGRESS and Rev Pro.
