The first 15 minutes that was staredowns, punk trying to get rock to dq himself, "wear down" moves, and punk playing the prefect heel. yeah, it was awesome compared to everything they've done lately.
I was quite happy with The Shield's match. Roman impressed me. The other two I was already a fan of. Ending was just perfect to me, though for all the money WWE has they really have shitty camera work / producing all too often. Over the shaky camera stuff and poor angles.
Undertaker. If he gets medically cleared anyway.
Just saw the PPV. It was pretty good. The chamber match was great. Not surprised Swagger won, it sets up the obvious feud with ADR. The 6 man tag team match was awesome and I was pleasantly surprised that the Shield won. But when was the last time Ryback won a real important match? They've been killing his momentum since they hotshotted him into the title match with Punk. And I still wish that match had been in the chamber, it would've been even better.
Rock vs Punk was slow to start but ended up okay. It was overbooked but welcome to the Attitude Era Rock. Sets up the obvious Rock vs Cena rematch where Cena wins. I really hope Undertaker is able to wrestle this year otherwise I don't know what Punk is gonna do.
Worst case scenario, they could always turn Punk face and have him face Lesnar? Even though Punk's been such an amazing heel, it would be a shame to turn him so soon..
Could always have him go after Orton too, I guess.
The way they ended the title match I honestly think they did it just in case Taker can't go at WM they can still put Punk into the WM title match if he has nothing else to do.
I feel like if Taker is gonna wrestle they really gotta get him on Raw tonight. The final stretch of the Road to Wrestlemania begins tonight.
Yeah that definitely has to happen. It probably should have happened already but I can see them not wanting to do it as it would have interfered with the Punk/Rock feud.
They have a few extra weeks until WM than a normal PPV. I'd rather see Undertaker take on Dean Ambrose just because I want Dean Ambrose to become a made man and going the distance with Undertaker at WM would be a king maker (even if he lost). It would be easy for Taker to show up and take umbrage with the Shield thinking they're the vanguard of wrestling purity.
One thing I noticed about the Punk/Rock match was how winded Rock was early. That might account for things.
My wife and I both thought Rock looked tired as hell during RR. I'm looking forward to Raw tonight.
Wouldn't be surprised if his endurance is shit these days. Then again, maybe he's acting~
Rock being the paper champion is really getting on my nerves.
5 RAWs until Mania iirc? He's obviously not going to wrestle in any of them, so how the hell can they keep the boring Cena feuding with him for 5 straight weeks exactly? Prepare yourselves for some more boring Rocky stories from the early 80's.
At least they still have all the vid packages from last year to reuse for Rock/Cena. -_-
The Shield match was pretty entertaining. I loved how they came off as a machine and took control of the match. Can't wait for WWE to fuck it all up.
Chamber match was great too. Figured Jericho would win and Ziggler would somehow get the title between now and Mania, but I'm more than okay with a Swagger/ADR/possible Ziggler match.
There was 0 chance of Rock wrestling on Raw even as champ. Just accept it and move on.
Hoping for both Taker and Trips tonight, but I'm afraid we may only end up with 1 or neither of them. Since I don't think Lesnar is scheduled for tonight and I have no idea if Taker is cleared to wrestle or not.
I actually hope they do Punk/Cena/Rock for the title... would maintain their whole "once in a lifetime" crap, and still make the title up for grabs since it could be either cena or punk that walk out with the title. If it's Cena vs Rock, we all know Cena wins cus Rocky goes back to making movies. It'll be a decent way to maintain credibility of the main event.
Hmm, Punk involved with Cena. Might be signs that we won't be getting any Undertaker this year lol.
Good, so what I just said is practically set in stone now lol.
I can see the match next week ending in some sort of controversy, they'll say both men deserve it, setting up the Triple Threat... which is perfect given the circumstances. Punk does deserve to be in the WM spotlight, and there's only one way Cena vs. Rock can end.
Don't be so sure of it. Next week's Raw is from Dallas. Undertaker lives in Texas ;x
I feel like they are probably leaving this up in the air until they know for certain whether Taker will make it or not.
Edit: Lol I guess Jericho is replacing Cena in the Shield feud.
lol Henry vs. Sin Cara.... I wonder how THAT'll end. >.>
And yeah, I guess they're keeping an open window for Taker, but a triple threat would still make so much more sense. Are they really going to toss Punk out of his feud with Rock like yesterday's garbage?
also: fuck yes more Shield action.
They will if Taker is fit enough for it lol. That was their original plan. Could always do it by Taker screwing Punk next week if they go that route.
