General WWE Discussion: Roman Weeps, Taker Retires, MNK/SAM/RDM LFP

I remember going to a house show in miami arena back in 96 right after shawn michaels won the wwf title in wm12. It was so much fun to go there, $20 seats front row, got to touch the title belt, got to high five shawn michaels, brian christopher, and the rock, undertaker up close was incredible, and JBL was as justin hawk brandshaw during the time. Saw a lot of new things being done during the time.

I still have the pictures developed somewhere at home, if i find them i can scan them and post them, this and royal rumble '91 were the only shows i've gone to in the miami arena.

I dunno if I still have the pictures but me and a buddy went to a house show in Cleveland where this guy named Brock Lesnar came out and wrestled The Rock and no one there had a clue who Lesnar was. This was before he was ever even on TV.

Got the hook up for some ringside seats for tonight's WWE house show. Stoked. I'm not sure which roster I'm getting because all the advertisements are pre-draft, so it'll all be a surprise to me who I see.

Going by how the WWE did the brand split last time, you will probably get the Raw brand. They would run Friday to Monday (Raw taping) and Smackdown would be Saturday to Tuesday (Smackdown taping).

That show with Tyson Dux I'm going to is from Smash Wrestling which is a helluva indy in Toronto that is picking up a lot of steam. Not sure if you guys have heard of them ( http://smash-wrestling.com/ ). They put on a lot of good matches and have a lot of great talent come in. Just recently they had a Smash vs. Chikara two night show that I unfortunately couldn't go to and in September they are having a three night Smash vs. Progress show which is gonna have a Dux vs. ZSJ CWC rematch. I'm gonna try to make it to this show.

Also seeing that Will Ospreay is injured again. In the post on reddit there's a list of the injuries the guy has had in his 4 year career at only 23 years old, and goddamn.

"Ospreay has suffered "two slipped discs, seven concussions, a dodgy shoulder that is prone to separation, two fractured heels, and sciatica which leads to numbness in his foot."

Byron Saxton was MC and Jojo was ring announcer. Jojo is gorgeous up close and booty is like HNNNNNG. Charlotte was also gorgeous up close. The family in the row ahead of me did the VIP experience and their little girl got to meet Charlotte backstage and get a lot of swag & pictures. New Day had a giant inflatable box of Booty O's cereal with them. Braun Strowman actually didn't seem as huge in person, meanwhile Roman seemed even bigger. That's not a PED joke, dude just seemed legit huge. I'll try to post some pics if BG bucket doesn't act retarded.

EDIT: For some reasons all my pictures look fine on BG bucket but they look hella huge and stretched when I post them in thread, I dunno why :/

Yeah Roddy gave a farewell speech at the PWG recently so it seems his indy commitments are probably about wrapped up at this point.

Noam Dar currently in the CWC was also rumored to be joining them a while back.

BTW couple of great UK shows today worth checking out if you have the chance. Progress had their chapter 33 Malice show main evented by Pastor William Eaver defending the title against former champion Marty Scurll and also featured Will Ospreay vs. Mark haskins to determine a new number one contender. ICW also had Shug's House Party with Big Damo defending the title against Joe Coffey while Drew Galloway and Jack Jester teamed up to battle a mystery team for control of the company.
