I don't see any problem talking about other wrestling organizations in this thread. I honestly don't think any other fed merits its own topic, but here under the WWE umbrella they can all enjoy a fair amount of discussion among the weekly WWE talk.

I didn't like the Okada/Tanahasi match as much as some of their other matches, but it was pretty good anyway. Goto vs whoever wins B block is uninteresting to me. I expect Naito to set up a rematch, but maybe Shibata.

It's kinda a messed up situation. Have Goto lose again? He ain't losing to Omega/Elgin. So that leaves Naito/Shibata. I'd be cool with him facing his old tag partner, but Shibata isn't going to main event the Dome, and his losses in G1 are going to be setting up his NEVER defenses, I suspect. Naito beating him after beating him in New Japan Cup? What's the point? I was thinking Tana, but the problem there is that by virtue of a win over Okada, Tana would be expected to have a title match against Okada in one of the fall events. I guess Goto doesn't have that issue since he lost to him.

So yeah, still sticking with Naito beating Kenny and then Goto, but if possible, they'll have things set up so going into the match, it would be possible that Shibata could win the block if Omega beats Naito.

Ospreay vs. Vader took place yesterday at the Rev Pro show in the UK. Vader got himself a nice hostile reaction to the point where it took him almost four minutes to get into the ring as he was busy arguing with fans around ringside. Vader ultimately won the match after interference from Pete Dunne who is feuding with Ospreay over the RPW Cruiserweight title.

Ok, first of all, EVIL/Shibata was deliciously violent, to the point when I was there saying "STOP THE DAMN MATCH!"

Just a week or two ago, I was reading comments about how BC sucks now (which is true), but then I remembered Kenny's comment about this being a "big year". Losing the IC title and the NEVER 6man and losing all steam. Then seeming disgruntled before the YTR match (understandable) and everyone writing it off as "meh, he wants to go to WWE". Still, he was putting on great matches early on, and that was an experience.

Spit battle, wtf? Hilarious, but fitting for those two.

Dragon suplex on the apron?

A Japanese table actually breaking?

Once I saw these two were facing off Night 18, I knew we'd get a One-Winged Angel reversed into Destino. They had me. They made me believe, and somehow, they actually fucking pulled the trigger. I'm shocked.

Him doing a Rocky IV speech and then swerving is fucking amazing.

Now watch him lose to Goto LOL.

Anyway, I watched with Japanese commentary. As much as I was tempted to check out the English comm. for a while for Romero, did they call it well, or were they annoying, bumblefucks?

Yeah, they were ok. I am so used to bad commentary, but they did good hammering home the scenarios and all. One criticism I heard was on Block A finals, they were constantly talking about situations with a Draw in the main event, and some people felt they telegraphed it. Oh well. That second match is just amazing in all the wrong ways.

That second to last match should probably set up Okada's title match at Destruction. Either Fale or Marufuji. Ishii will probably get his title shot either at KoPW or Power Struggle, though I don't know if Naito also has a rematch or not coming to him.

Seriously, I'm so fucking happy Kenny won. Going into G1 it felt like Naito winning was a foregone conclusion, and even going into the last day of B Block it still seemed obvious Naito was winning.

His Naito match was better, but watching him pull out so many moves from other wrestlers for the Final was dope. Golden Star Powerbomb, Phoenix Splash, V Trigger (his version of Nakamura's knee if anyone doesn't know), and then that entire finishing sequence, so dope.
