Am I the only one that thinks The Streak has run its course? I don't see anyone needing the push it would give to break it, and I don't need to see it hit 21. 20 seems perfect.

Absolutely love seeing that Scott made it to DDP's. I really hope he sticks this out. I really want to see him get a few more years tacked on to his life.

As for the Shield, I too am really liking them. More actual ring time finally! I absolutely think Roman is getting spotlight for that exact reason. He is the least known. He sure is looking better than I expected too. Meanwhile Michael can just continue to talk about how strange Dean "Totally Batshit Nuts" Ambrose is... and I can continue to enjoy the way he sells better than Ziggles. Totally over the top and it's great.

Ambrose was hilarious in the Walls of Jericho last night. He was flipping out.

The Shield match was the only match I watched last night. The camera work on the closeups was all over the place. Crazy zoom ins and outs. Made me feel sick. Were these camera shots done for the other matches? I bring it up because someone made a comment on the F4W site that the ppv had really shitty camera work and it seems it has been in decline for sometime.

Goddamn, all those years of drugs and alcohol really wrecked him.

As for Raw, they're doing an amazing job with the Shield right now. Making them look absolutely fantastic instead of just squashing them like I had assumed. Glad to see that. Seriously the best thing to come to the WWE in a long, long time. All of their matches have been basically the best things on their respective shows. All three of them need more ring time ASAP. I know next to nothing about Reigns other than he's related to the Rock, but he's looked more impressive than the other two, but they're probably setting it up that way since people know Rollins and Ambrose.

Things are looking pretty grim for Taker and this years Wrestlemania, so setting up a contingency plan of a potential 3-way for the belt is great, and really is the way they should go regardless of whether or not Taker is capable of doing the show. Also belt was ugly.
Holy fuck, I didn't recognize him at first.

It has been pretty shitty for a while now. There are a few gripes I have with WWE's camerawork. They use the camera to help sell blows and it is stupid as hell. The cameras are literally shaken as a strong blow hits, to emphasize the impact? To sell it harder? To keep it from being obvious that Cena's fist came nowhere near anyone's face? Then there is the close in view. It is really bad sometimes, just too close, and you miss what else is going on. Then there is the cuts, that make me imagine Triple H up in the control room just pushin buttons, switching camera feeds with his huge goddamn fingers. You miss finishers, you are jarred from the poorly timed switches, etc. Last night you barely saw Seth come off the top rope because they were on another camera feed that wasn't showing it. At the Rumble you weren't shown Rey's 619s. I get that there is a lot going on at once, and without it being 100% scripted the cameras just have to do their best, but I feel like there is a 5 year old up in the booth watching it all, not at all on the ball.

It has gotten worse I feel over the last few months. Stupid really, with all that production money. Not sure what they are doing.

It just sort of dawned on me that my biggest problem with the spinner belt and this championship belt design is how focused it is on the WWE logo. This logo sucks at conveying any sense tradition and dignity. Back when they adopted this logo it was on the title, but the focal point was the championship aspect and not the company.

    Rock goes to movie premire.
    Has belt on his shoulder.
Big ass W in the face of all.
Joan Rivers asks Rock what belt is for.
    Checks his hand for notes.
Tells her to shut her mouth.
He throws a tshirt on her.
    Checks his hand for notes.
    Says shes looks much better.

He's closing in on 50 years old and tons of injuries just piling up on him between his hip and shoulder. He just had surgery a few months after last years WM again and the talk was that he hasn't been in the best of physical condition as a result.

Honestly Scott looks to be significantly older than Jake there which just shows how bad things have taken a toll on the guy.

I don't think WWE uses a boom mike. Would fix a lot of problems they have when it comes to missing shots.

Unfortunately, I think to get around some of these issues, you'd simply need more cameras out there. And for the most part, they try to avoid camera (guys) from being in the shots. These guys are getting up and down off the apron with probably thirty pounds or more of hardware on their shoulder. That shit's gonna shake, and doubly so if the wrestlers come at them unexpectedly. Part of it may also depend on the venue.

I'm honestly a bit surprised they haven't embedded cameras into the ring posts by now as a constant 4 corner perspective. But yes, when a lot of shit is going on, it can be hard to keep track. They either need to do better panning out or adopt multi-screen live play instead of just with replays.

ill try to find a video, i can assure you that its not a byproduct of a camera mans necessary movement, its them actually zoming in and out and ahaking the camera from a fixed point.

Like when Sheamus does his thing hammering on his opponents chest and the camera starts going crazy. It's terrible! Prime example right here.

Perfect example of what I was referring to Kalmodo. I hate that shit.

Ha, they just can't. You would hear the wrestlers talking to each other. Even now you will still hear them direct each other from time to time. Botchamania's "Everyone Talks Too Much!" section is always funny.

So, there goes the Swagger push, lmao... http://www.tmz.com/2013/02/20/wwe-st...#ixzz2LTT2UCFy

WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly driving under the influence ... with pot in his car.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger -- real name Jacob Hager -- was leaving a "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over for speeding.

According to law enforcement, the officer who pulled him over determined Swagger was driving under the influence -- and a search revealed Swagger was in possession of marijuana.

We're told Swagger -- a former WWE World Heavyweight champ -- was taken in by local sheriff's deputies ... and later released on his own recognizance.

He has been charged with DUI, marijuana possession, and speeding -- all misdemeanors.

We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
Probably gonna get a 30 day suspension at least for the wellness policy and miss WM. On the plus side, you might get to see Jack Swagger one more time so Mark Henry can induct him into the HALL OF PAIN and take his WM title shot.

Not so sure of that. He has to fail a wellness test to get the suspension, possession doesn't have to translate to that. They might let him keep running with this for now but I think it may have squashed any chance of him winning the title at Wrestlemania.

    What a dumbass.
