The only thing that annoys me about this (aside from driving drunk, you idiot) is that all the Fox News fans will be lapping this up. Its a pretty big black eye for the WWE, especially considering the fact that they were loving all the heat they were taking from buzz surrounding the storyline.

Ha, they just can't. You would hear the wrestlers talking to each other. Even now you will still hear them direct each other from time to time. Botchamania's "Everyone Talks Too Much!" section is always funny.

Being that he was in possession of Marijuana i'm very sure they could suspend him just off of that. According to WWE anytime someone is arrested they are in violation of their contract and can be released. Hell they released Eddie Guerro after a DUI with drug possession. Swagger is going to get Hall of Pain'd, then Future Endeavored for a few months.

Eddie got released because he had a history of substance abuse issues and WWE wanted him to go to rehab but he refused much like Carlito. One time offense isn't likely something they are going to fire him for though he did just cost himself any chance at all of winning at WM.

RVD and Sabu got a 30 day after being nailed with possession as well. They kept RVD on long enough to drop the titles though before his suspension.

Cameron was lucky to not get fired but that was because she lied to WWE about it and even went so far as to try and bribe the arresting officer. I doubt he gets suspended before WM but will lose the match and then possibly be taken off TV afterwards for a month or so. Also RVD and Sabu wasn't a marijuana issue though they had that also. Sabu basically was carrying around his own personal pharmacy with him due to the beating his body had taken over the years.

Dude your at tge point of making excuses now. Wwe has policy in place where any arrest, conviction or use of drugs can lead to termination. The fact he did this in the middle of the biggest push of his life is even more reason they need to make an example of him.

Yet its not set in stone that they have to be terminated. WWE could always choose to do nothing just to not fuck with their own plans. You make it sound like its guaranteed he is gone. Its not, far from it.

At the very least, WWE can use the drug charge in lieu of a positive test for the substance, amounting in a fine of $2,500. However, testing positive for marijuana is not held to the same standard as steroids, or other performance enhancing drugs, and WWE is under no legal obligation to suspend Swagger, in the event that he remains with the company.

No but when you got rumors of favoritism and turning g a blind eye towards people to do nothing to a guy who has literally went from jotm to pushed to the moon and given one of the best talkers to vet him there and repays you by getting a dui and possession charge, to not make an example of him is going to open the floodgates.

And you're coming out spouting half truths as fact.

Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Jeff Hardy. Three guys who failed drug tests for WWE and were allowed to stay on TV to finish out storylines before being suspended or let go in the case of Jeff Hardy.

Jimmy Uso, Ted DiBiase, Alex Riley, and Mark Henry are all guys that got arrested for various reasons and were never disciplined and that is without even looking at the NXT/FCW roster where about half the roster has been arrested for DUI at some point without discipline unless it has been a recurring issue like it was with Kenneth Cameron.

Rofl Alex Riley got pushed all the way down to nxt. And I believe he didn't work that for a while as well. I posted plenty of examples of those who got suspended /fired for dui or possession and yet you come out spouting crap. I will be honestly shocked if they don't suspend him and i highly doubt they will let him work the biggest show of the year pay day or not. When you are looking at being the guy to carry a show as the title holder and you fuck up, you are going to get hammered harder than an Alex Riley. And he only has himself to blame.

And just to put this at rest, here is an excerpt of the Wellness policy.

"Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal."

So yes, they can can him, they can suspend him, they can choose to do nothing. If they do #3 though, then they shit on all the progress they made over the last few years with trying to "clean up" the sport.

Riley's punishment had nothing to do with his DUI. He actually got pushed after it until he pissed off Cena backstage. That was when his push disappeared. And every single name you mentioned you like I stated posted with half the facts. Cameron didn't get suspended because of her DUI. She got suspended because she attempted to bribe the arresting officer and then lied to WWE about it. RVD wasn't even suspended for his incident with Sabu as he was WWE and ECW Champion at the time it happened. They kept him on TV and then had him drop both titles before they suspended him finally. Sabu was the only one that actually got punished due to possession and it wasn't because of marijuana but assorted other drugs he had in his possession. So by all means keep posting names with only half the facts if that in the case of Eddie Guerrero who again got released after a history of substance abuse dating back to WCW that led to his new years eve car accident that nearly killed him.

And I'm not arguing that they can't do any of that to him if you would bother to actually read. I'm saying it's highly unlikely they are going to fire him over it and only a little more likely they suspend him as there is plenty of past occurrences where there was no action taken that you like to just overlook for your own convenience. His push as it was however is going to be killed as a result.
