Actually, R-Truth was also kept on TV long enough to lose a match or something before getting suspended. Or was it getting beaten up by Miz or something? I forget. Evan Bourne as well. You're talking about keeping Swagger on TV for the next 5-6 weeks though, which is not going to happen in a case where they want him suspended.

Orton worked for a full month before being suspended for one of his past violations so it has been done before is the point. Whether they do it or not is all up to whether or not they want to scramble to change match plans for a second major match on the show like they apparently are having to do for CM Punk already.

Yup R Truth was kept on TV because he had that advertised Survivor Series match of Cena and The Rock against Awesome Truth. I don't even think they were going to punish him at all until Evan Air Bourne started blabbing to the public basically ratting out Truth since Bourne got suspended and Truth didn't. I can't remember where but I think twitter. I guess its possible they were just holding off on the punishment but I always had it built up in my head that it was Evan Air Bourns fault. lol

I'm saying it's highly unlikely they are going to fire him over it and only a little more likely they suspend him as there is plenty of past occurrences where there was no action taken that you like to just overlook for your own convenience. His push as it was however is going to be killed as a result.

Funny you say overlooking yet I posted plenty of people whose first wellness/drug/arrest violations getting suspended and you came up with a bunch of bullshit excuses as to why it happened to them but can't happen to swagger. I'm sorry but I hardly see WWE keeping him on tv for almost 6 weeks unpaid. If RVD didn't have two belts to drop, he would have gotten suspended at the same time as Sabu, but you can't exactly have your title holders sitting for 30+ days while the belts languish. Swagger doesn't have that going for them. And with the pounding WWE just took during Linda's campaign about drug use running rampant still fresh in their minds, it would be idiotic to not punish Swagger, especially after they rewarded him with a golden ticket.

Random thought. If Taker can't wrestle this mania and Swagger does get taken out of the match, would anyone care to see Punk vs ADR? I feel like a feud with Punk could put face ADR over a bit. My only issue with this is that it almost feels like a demotion for Punk because the World Heavyweight title doesn't mean as much anymore.

No you've posted a bunch of names(not that four is really a bunch) that were suspended due to either a history of abuse or extra circumstances being involved like with Cameron which was not a suspension due to the DUI but whatever. And I'm not saying it can't happen to Swagger. I said I don't think it will. There is a difference there if you would actually think for all of half a second rather than spouting off crap. Hell just read the last line of my last post. I'll even bold it for you so maybe you can actually figure it out this time.

And I'm not arguing that they can't do any of that to him if you would bother to actually read.

Also forgetting one thing. IF they do suspend Swagger it's 30 days as it is a first violation. He'd still be back on TV in time for WM and Zeb Coulter wouldn't have to be off TV at all.

WWE's wellness policy has huge holes anyways. They can say they care about cleaning it up and they have done some things (paying for rehab).

If they really care about having wrestlers live past their 40s, the wrestling culture has to change. This is why I admire what Chris Nowinski is doing.

Bleh the dumb in here is giving me a headache. In the end, Vince can fire/suspend him due to his horrible lisp if he wanted to. We will probably find out more Monday what is going to happen. If he's not on the house shows this weekend though it's a pretty good omen to what will happen.

Yeah but this all comes down to what WWE wants to do. Their policy does not FORCE them to suspend for weed. They can if they want to, or not if they don't want.

True and I forgot to add the only reason Truth was suspended was because Evan ratted him out. Also, no one cares about the tag teams.
