Good for TJP. Another guy TNA failed finds success elsewhere.

Yeah TJP should probably get that chest/shoulder cleaned and wrapped before he gets a nasty infection.
Man, top to bottom CWC is probably the best wrestling product I've seen, right up there with season 1 of Lucha Underground.
Awesome show tonight. I really hope that the cruiserweight division gets a chance to shine ala like it was in WCW and that we don't get those painful Chavo-Hornswoggle type matches.
TJP deserved this win. A real journeyman who has literally been all over the world and wrestled in a who's who of promotions.
I seriously hope they just give most of an hour on Raw to the cruiserweights and that it isn't just one four way match a week. TJP winning also helps with the fact that the champion can at least do some promo work which is something Metalik would not have been able to do. It's amazing how so many promotions missed on TJP before Evolve gave him a legit chance.
wishful thinking, i really want the cruiserweights to be no story, no bullshit, just pure quality wrestling. With Tozawa there, he will need a translator for promos or learn engrish asap like nakamura did.
Kevin Steen, AJ Styles, Nakamura (who beat Samoa Joe for said title), and Suicide/Manik are all champs in WWE. What a bizarre year.
Also, I'm pretty sure Tozawa speaks some rudimentary English. Pretty much every single person in Japan under the age of 40 speaks at least some level of English, and the country has been expanding teaching English as a basic requirement for all students.
Smith Hart (Brets brother) used the fact that someone died at Seth Rollins training institute (when Seth wasnt even there) as further evidence that Rollins is dangerous in the ring.
Meltzer saying Backlash drew 7,000 live attendance and that was on top of a lot of free tickets being given out locally in the week leading up to it. Not the greatest start for SD Live's PPV era, but supposedly No Mercy is already sold out, so maybe it's not all bad.
As some people were pointing out on reddit, WWE has spent years pushing Smackdown as the "B" show, and even do it now post brand split. Backlash not pulling big numbers is no ones fault but their own.
TJP's scarring/bruising after last night, between Ibushi's kicks and Metalik chopping the everloving fuck out of him, I think he got out okay, all things considered.

Have I mentioned I love her?
TJP says in an interview with Sporting News that they were not told beforehand that the finals would determine the Cruiserweight Champion and that he found out when everyone else did when HHH made the announcement and unveiled the belt right before the match started.
Eva's suspension will be up for next week's SD, and also Emma is projected to be returning from injury soon as well. Emma wasn't drafted and I could see her showing up to either Raw or SD, but I'm guessing she'd prefer to be on SD with boyfriend Zack Ryder.
They supposedly broke up a few months ago.
On the other side of the coin, Johnny Gargano and Candice La Rae got married today.
SO YOU'RE SAYING THERE'S A CHANCE
Emma worked a Raw live event last night as a guest referee. Could be an indication that she will end up on Raw.
So according to the New York Post in addition to Billy Corgan trying to purchase TNA fully, WWE and ROH's parent company Sinclair Broadcasting have also made offers to purchase the company though since it's the new york post it should be taken with a grain of salt that it ever actually happened.
