I didn't expect an iron man match, but holy shit that was awful. Can you imagine what the sheeple that paid full price for front row tickets for this match feel like? Well unless they are Goldberg fans lol.
I like how people are calling for a 3rd match at Mania as if this were a rubber match situation at all.. it's not.
James Ellsworth could probably beat Brock now
Heyman did say the match was going to be quick...perhaps foreshadowing for a WM or Rumble Rematch.
Boy I'm glad I didn't go to Survivor Series. NXT best show by far.
I am nerd raging so hard right now. UT's streak, manhandled Cena, bloodied Orton, unstoppable monster for 3+ years. Would have been an incredible rub to give to someone. Instead they wasted it on GOLDBERG. Not just Lesnar losing, but getting completely squashed. I am absolutely beside myself at how incredibly terrible booking that is.
the WWE locker room got together for a group pic after Survivor Series:

So not ONE of you guys were legit jumping out of your seats when Goldberg bitch tossed Lesnar after he tried to man handle him? I know I was hyped, despite it not making sense to bury Lesnar like that, it was so goddamn exciting to see him get annihilated like that.
That part was fine. It was a show of strength by the babyface who was a monster in his own right.
Apparently goldberg is gonna be in the rumble according to rumors. That explains to me why they might give him the win. Still doesn't explain why it would be in a lesnar squash.
I actually like the fact someone finally dominated Lesnar. Enough with this conqueror bullshit.
Nah man we would have had to hear how he was BEATEN, VICTIMIZED AND CONQUERED BY BAH-ROCK LESNAR for the 10 billionth fuckin' time. The whole suplex city shtick along with him not even being remotely close to being full time or a regular on the roster is just a joke to just keep pushing this guy up into the stratosphere as far as he is in the ridiculous mind of Paul. I know it's his job to be over the top like that but it's getting really old and it's about time someone turned Lesnar into bitch soup. It was already beyond insulting that they gave this non full timer and guy who left the company, WHY this piece of shit, why did they let Lesnar of all people get the W over Taker? I will never get that, along with why people think that anyone NEW getting to get a win over Lesnar somehow that validates them as somehow over the Undertaker. The "rub" or whatever, which is stupid considering Lesnar already beat Undertaker very decisively and horribly even before WM. This whole talk is just nonsense IMO, anyone beating Lesnar wasn't going to give them bragging rights over Taker's WM streak, that makes no goddamn sense.
It didnt even make sense though
Brock lifted Goldberg to the corner, then started at him in awe for some dumbshit reason. Brock usually does that then starts wailing away.
Not that I want to mention it again, but I'm going to have to, Brock spent the past 3 years beating up the entire WWE roster at will, including their "strongest people". Now a 51 year old Goldberg, who hasnt wrestled in 12 years, just squashed the fuck out of Brock. John Cena now looks weak. Haitch looks weak. Rollins looks weak. Even Reigns looks weak. Everyone Brock has manhandled looks weak because of this squash.
The point I think most people are missing in Lesnar vs Goldberg is Lesnar was cocky. Lesnar was going in with all the momentum against a guy who hasn't wrestled in the WWE in 12 years. Heyman kept saying how the match was going to be quick and that Goldberg stood no chance. Lesnar looked past Goldberg and paid the price. This way when they meet next time, Lesnar will destroy him and give him even a stronger look. He's now a focused beast while before he was bored.
Wasn't Goldberg rumored to have been injured? That may have been the reason for the short match, and early PPV end time. Them not wanting to cance that huge of a match last minute.
Reason is Goldberg is coming back for more matches.
Didn't lesnar have backstage altercations with Jericho after the Orton incident? Maybe that was a way to punish him?
This is absolutely fucking dumb.Dave says Goldberg's going to be sticking around for a bit, and he'll be having a rematch with Lesnar, which is a deal they made within the last week (originally, Lesnar was booked to win). Lesnar, among others pushed for the deal because he saw money in Goldberg, and Vince must have seen it too. Dave isn't sure, but he presumes he'll be working the Rumble (which he says is pretty much a given) and Wrestlemania. Beyond that, it's unclear.
He also says the match was not shortened due to Goldberg's injury. From the time he decided to stay, the point of the match became getting him over, so they did the match that originally got him over.
