That would explain why they didn't show them coming down to the ring. Had noticed said cart on the edge of the screen at one point and had wondered what it was.

Kind of crazy how the last four Royal Rumbles have tried desperately to get Roman over as THE GUY but he remains soundly rejected by the fan base and Vince won't give up on it.
The Roman thing makes me wonder if it was the original plan. What if he has won the Championship Title earlier? Would it have been KO? Maybe they were hoping Finn Balor would have passed his physical tests, which I read were done on Saturday, and then he could enter at 30. And when he didn't pass, they had to go with Plan B.
I also say that, because this Rumble was pretty absent of a surprise entrant. Other than Tye at 10. But that wasn't really a surprise.

So ways the Rumble could have been improved, off the top of my head:
Zayn, Dillinger, and Ellsworth could have eliminated Strowman. The Ambrose spot got a chuckle, sure, but when Sami and Tye threw Braun over the top rope and Ellsworth just stood there when he could have jumped on him and torn him down and then technically been the guy to eliminate the big guy it would've been a great moment.
Should've had Enzo do his full ring intro for Cass, leave so Cass can get into the ring, and then come out at #2. Putting Enzo at #27 was just a waste of a spot at that point. Who puts the joke spot at 27?
Too many instances of "new entrant comes in, does spots to everyone, waits for next entry." Brock, Cesaro, Rusev, Braun, etc etc.
Jericho should've won. Cue 2 months of build up for Jericho vs. Owens at Wrestlemania where Owens finally gets to go full-on killer heel against Jericho. First off, they owe Jericho a Rumble for that Sheamus debacle a few years ago, and second, once all the other wild cards were eliminated and we had no surprise entrants, he was the only one left with a Wrestlemania-ready story to start building.
Reigns at #30 sucked the life out of the building and I'm pretty sure everyone at home. Really should've been Miz at #30 to Daniel Bryan's music like what people were saying here if they really didn't have Joe or Angle or Omega or any other surprises. If Reigns had to be in there, put him in at #17 or something so he can come and get revenge on Braun. That would've at least made sense and maybe gotten some people on Roman's side since it would have been an easy to understand motivation.
Rumble used to be my favorite match, but 5 in a row ranging from "eh" to "ugh" is starting to change that assessment.
World and Universal title plans going forward, according to Meltzer. Spoilers, obviously.
Spoiler: show
@ Zealot, just one thing I generally disagree with is that I thought the Braun elimination was done perfectly fine. The entire sequence was awesome and gave Corbin a good rub.
so anyway, I was watching the Rumble at a friends' last night(my network account). They literally watch wrestling 3 times a year: Summerslam, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania. During the whole Owens/Reigns match, they called about 1/2 of Reigns' spots just from watching a few of his previous matches.
When he came out at 30, they were more upset about it than me: "This guy just lost and he is #30?". I think they were more pissed than I was. Maybe I have become desensitized too much to LOLREIGNS.
Funny thing about the Roman thing. Thats exactly what the crowd wanted for Bryan a few years back. Being the surprise 30th entrant after losing. It's funny how NOT being a crowd favorite will change those reactions when they are given the same spots.
It's due to the whole "Crowd feels like Vince is forcing them what to like" It's like when TNA first started and there was an unofficial heel section that was just fans that would almost universally cheer for the heels. TNA got pissed off cause they didn't want people cheering for the heels and banned them.
if Reigns coming in at 30 and then eliminating Taker is the start of his heal turn its fine. Anything else its utter trash. woof
Roman only turns heel over Vinces dead body.
I can't stop watching, and smiling at Tye's royal rumble pop. Thing is straight up amazing, and hearing those horns from his song. Easily one of my favorite entries although not so surprising.
Figured out why Roman came out as 30 from Twitter

Broken Matt does call him the Samoan Named Joe
Bah, there go my WM hopes and dreams. Got some family members who have never been to the US visiting that weekend of all times. I gotta stay in Boston x.x
Anyone have experience with WWE Axxess? My last chance to do some sort of WM event, the most expensive tickets are $190, but is that per day or the whole weekend? And what else is there that is exciting?
