Honestly, a "better" main event story would have been Jerhicos music hitting, Goldberg spear, then KO rolls out and tries to escape through the crowd with the belt, only to come face to face with Brock. Brock runs him back to the ring, and the match finishes. Feeds into the Jerhico/KO and Goldberg/Brock matches at WM.

The other issue is the fact that we all knew we were getting a 30 second match when Goldberg's entrance was at 10:51 pm est, KO's entrance was at 10:55 pm est, and the bell rung at like 10:59 pm est. Not that I agree with what they pulled at SS, but with SS ending "early", it helped sell the idea that Goldberg and Brock were expected to have somewhat of a match. This was just a pile of dogshit and we could all see it coming from miles away.
I dont know why Vince wants Brock/Goldberg to be for the title so it "means more". Two part timers are headlining wrestlemania for the top title in the company (Raw is the "A" show according to them). Way to bury the rest of your roster, and continue to make Raw look terrible.
