Honestly? The crowd booing him and chanting "boring". Otherwise, same old boring Cena promo from last week saying he's going to beat Rock.
I don't like this in-between BS, either turn him heel or don't.

They're not gonna turn him, but if he's gonna get booed they are better off letting him act that way rather. Obviously a full turn would be ideal, but I've long since given up on that.

Pretty much this. This isn't full turn, but certainly a more crowd-aggravating than usual.

Edit: I think the main reason the promo was good was because he trashed the new belt and the crowd reaction mostly.

I know that's why it's so frustrating. It feels like there hasn't been a WWE champion for the past 3 months.
Also, the ending was great. Say what you want about Punk disrespecting Bearer, blahblahblah, great story buildup.

It was probably the best thing done on Raw today as far as building up a WM match goes. Next best somehow was probably Fandango. Like him or not, but the scorecards shit was brilliant.

I'm actually growing fond of Fandunghole... Curtis is playing it well.
As for the other buildups... they were weak as fuck. The fact that they gave Punk and Taker the stage to close the show just shows how uninteresting the Rock/Cena conflict is this year.

I couldn't catch all of the chants during Cena's weak promo, but did I hear a "boring!" chant going? He received zero pop with all his weak attempts and raising his voice to the point it cracks and screeches to show emotion is old, thoughtless, and laughable. As we've all said, we know he's there because of merchandise, but man it's sad to watch. They replayed his promo three times during the show too? zzZzz

Rest of the show was pretty weak as well. About the only thing I learned was: Big E's finisher looks weak and he has some serious acne. IC title to be first on gives it even less meaning to me. Having Cesaro, especially as the US champ, 1)not get his intro 2)lose b4 wm 3)not have a match at wm is sad. Rock is zzZzz as well and hearing Cole and Lawler attempt to create buzz around the match is lolworthy. Just because you keep saying "legendary match" doesn't make it so guys.
