I don't really care if Adolf Hitler was an amazingly talented painter, he should get no compliments. These fucks Omega, Ibushi, same thing.

There is a lot of Cornette that I do like, but he's went off the deep end regarding Omega and Ibushi.
He said alot of really stupid shit today. It's amazing how butthurt he still is over shit those two did in DDT a million years ago. Especially when you consider what good things Kenny and the Young Bucks (who he's hated for who knows how long) have done for the non-WWE part of the industry of late.
I mean, we're about to see NJPW and LIJ shirts on store shelves nationwide because of those guys, that's a huge leap in visibility.
I'm excited mostly for the LIJ merch to be visible and of course to buy. Everyone in LIJ is freaking awesome and I really hope they sell well.
Watched up till 1/2 way through Omega/Suzuki before passing out. The Juice/Kojima match was really good and his Unprettier (Pulp Friction) is really good. Really enjoyed Tonga/Elgin as well.
Juice/Kojima might have been my favorite match yesterday. It was just close to perfect for what I'd want from both of them in that situation. I rewatched the main event and while I liked it better than I did on first glance, I guess I had expected something else/more. Probably not getting around to the show that's running now til this afternoon/evening, but all 5 of those should be great.
ZSJ vs Ibushi time! So hyped.
YOSHI HASHI just potatoed the fuck out of Naito with that kick, Jesus.
Had to break character to check on him
Jericho and Dave Meltzer had a really good discussion about Chris Benoit. You can listen here. They talk a lot of Benoit's career and booking decisions of WCW and WWE. I still have 45 minutes to go so I haven't heard much of anything about the double murder suicide yet.
He likes people who are "old school" and don't expose the business, like the Revival. He's locked down hard in the old carny mentality, so wrestlers who break character on social media or in public (so like, almost everyone these days) or are crazy spot monkeys (Young Bucks, anyone who competes for PWG) draw his ire.
Has anybody sent him clips of the BC tag match from this morning yet? I'm sure he'd love that! Tama was cracking me up in that.
I need to go find the video of him raging on the person in a drive through. That 5 minutes pretty much sums up what Jim Cornette is.
It's too bad because I've listened to a number of clips from his podcasts on youtube and he is a smart person when it comes to the business. If he could keep his cool, could you imagine how great he'd be as a manager for say The Revival?
Dustin is savage.

Calling him Greg? Cornette's gonna hear about this
I feel like I use it more than I use Netflix (and obviously more than the WWE Network), even if it's just to watch the replay of an event I missed live.
Just got through watching (mostly skipping) last night's event.
I enjoyed the tension in the Bullet Club match. Zach vs Kota was as great as expected. And I always enjoy watching Naito's matches. I skipped the other matches since they didn't really interest me. Were there any that were must watch?
Iishi vs. Makabe was surprisingly great. Also, while this is an obvious choice in the ladies, I find there are tons of gorgeous women at NJPW events vs the random stray shown at WWE events.
All the matches from today were pretty good, tho Ibushi vs ZSJ and Naito vs YOSHI HASHI were the better ones.
This next card looks awesome. Yano vs Kojima is gonna be a Yano match, but all the rest are some seriously solid matchups.
To save time I've honestly just been watching the tournament matches and skipping all the tag stuff.
