Why would they do that? The Raw is so much better with the same crowd being in a closed arena.

Is it me, or does it seem like there is an audio track of "oh!" or w/e during matches on Smackdown? I swear it's the exact same sound/pitch/noise and it will happen during average if not weak moves at times. This is not in reference to last night's show, just in general.

Exactly, cant hear the crowd roaring in a stadium, which is the whole purpose of the post WM crowd being amazing. If thats what you want to mimic, why go to a stadium where the wrestlers themselves thought the WM crowd was dead cause they couldnt really hear them.

Yeah WWE's been known to pipe in cheers, boos or other sound effects quite often for Smackdown. Dunno how much recently.

WWE's been doing audio loops on SD for years now. It makes it sound like superstars get cheered much more on SD than on RAW, which is rather dumb.

As for putting post-WM RAW outdoors? Dumbest idea they've had in a while. Like others here mentioned, the whole point is putting the same crazy european crowd in a closed arena.

Umm the superdome isn't outdoors. It's just a much bigger venue but still very much indoors.
