I doubt he's really injured. Seems like a work so if Ryback takes the title, "Cena wasn't at 100% anyway!" can be used. I dunno, maybe he is.
As dickish as it does sound I'd get a good laugh if Cena did get some injury that mandated a minimum of 6 months off, just to see WWE go into panic mode.

Only good I could see coming out of such a scenario is maybe DB getting the belt, but that'd also require a slight persona shift. Can't say there's anyone else on their roster I'd want to see it with.

He's not grieving about losing a family member, he's fucking injured. Better yet, it doesn't even seem to be that bad. My reasons for laughing about it is that Punk is out of action, Rock is gone, and now their WWE champion got "injured" (even though it seems like he's booked for a match tonight so it was probably just a scare.) Regardless, yes I find it funny that just as that boring, stale character is being put on top, AGAIN, for the umpth time, he gets injured.
Do I wish him physical harm? Sure I don't. Would I be happy if he was shelved for the next 6 months or so? Fuck yes, because we're all sick of seeing him on TV every week. Seeing WWE in panic mode is always fun, too. Maybe they'll book another Ryback screwjob ooooooooh.

Yeah what he does for the make-a-wish foundation is amazing and he should be acknowledged for it. But how does that change the fact that he's been portraying the same character since 2004 and everyone is sick of it? Completely unrelated.

Put the kids in a tag match with Cena against some goofs like 3MB or Primo & Epico, let them bump like crazy for the kids, it'd probably be awesome and a feel good moment.
