Axel winning via countout is pretty much the same reason DB won by DQ, can't have the champ and #1 being offed by others without either being involved in some manner.

Last night pretty much confirmed for me that DB should have the belt, though. Granted, he needs a shave and haircut, but I think he's displayed more technical aptitude than Punk and most everyone else.

TNA's big signing is Rampage Jackson. I'm not into MMA, but definitely know the name. Not sure overall what this will do for the company, but hopefully some good.

Yea, with Josh Reddick of the A's who is a huge DB nut. His theme walking to the plate to bat is DB's remix of flight of the valkyries.

Rampage in TNA is just lol. Makes sense for him to do TNA and Bellator now though considering his MMA career is now relegated to Journeyman status, if that.

King Mo really isn't the fraction of the name that Rampage Jackson is, this could do the company some good. Not to mention the dude is a good trash talker, and is already comfortable in the limelight so I see him doing some good mic work.

That's what I'm really hoping for. The only concern is being on one show that's scripted and another show that's real. I hope they make the best of things.

Had a phone conversation today with Fandango, he is making media rounds promoting an upcoming show in town in a couple weeks. Dude was really cool. He was asked how the Fandango character came about, and apparently he IS a trained ballroom dancer from his youth. He said Vince McMahon provided the name and told him to provide the dance moves, and the rest is history. And yes, I tried to pronounce his name but it was not up to his standards, lol

So rumor has it we'll have DB involved in the Ryback/Cena feud before long leading to Cena vs (face)Bryan around Summerslam for the title. My body could not be more ready for the .0001% chance that Bryan leaves Summerslam with the WWE title.

Feels like waiting for a Ridill. God I hope they actually go through with it.
Would be interesting how they would play a feud against Cena with DB remaining face, unless Ryback will stay in there throughout. I was honestly hoping for DB to turn heel and pursue the WWE Title that way, the whole "not the weak link" storyline seemed to be heading in that direction anyways.

I think DB's charisma is so good he can keep this "weak link" thing as a face throughout. Like we all know, he's not getting the belt(although he should).

Didn't watch TNA really last night(NBA finals). Did see Rampage come out. Angle got in his face and looks like we'll see that eventually. They started the Bound For Glory tournament and the first match was Chavo vs. Hernandez. The latter is huge, but watching how he performs his move set and the way he handles the opponent looks very awkward. It appears they want him to be a big man high flyer type and while he can move around he also looks as if he's trying not to hurt the other person.

This was a fairly good SD... you know, other than the regular 30~ min they spent showing up shit we already watched on RAW. >.<

I hate how Smackdown became so.... shit over the time period I wasn't watching WWE. I remember around 06 or 07 I moved out and didn't have cable so I just stopped watching. Got back into it around 08-09 and Smackdown just seemed like garbage. I miss the brand wars and the badass roster they had. Kurt, Lesnar, Show, Edge, Batista, I'm not saying bring 'em back, I'm saying they just need to do SOMETHING to make it worth tuning into. Otherwise I'll just wait til Saturday morning and catch a match I wanted to see on youtube.
