They were on TNN from like, 2000 to 2005. But in all archive footage, they erase the TNN watermark. The jumbo tron did have a bigass TNN logo on it for a while, though.

....I don't think I was even watching wrestling at that time, but still it was a decent match. I'm sure those two can put on a great show when they eventually meet. Cena can be really good in the ring when they give him a good opponent and let them actually wrestle.

Yeah I don't think its that huge of a deal honestly. I think they wanted it to be a bigger deal than it was. This whole Destination X thing felt really crappy to me. I did miss the very beginning so maybe something happened there but this was supposed to be a PPV Caliber event and to me it felt no different than a standard Impact.

Also I think one of the more recent TNA title changes (Although it was 2 years ago) they had Kurt Angle drop the Title to James Storm on free TV which to me felt like a WAY bigger deal than this time around. I guess I just didn't really like the match that much. It seemed like 20 minutes of beating on his knee only to get hit in the head with a hammer.

After thinking about it I decided to look it up and watch it again and this really was a GREAT moment

Yeah but it was taped and we knew about it like 3 days in advance from dirt sheets.
This was live.

That being said, the match was boring and the entire show seemed to drag on. It was supposed to be a PPV brought to free TV and it felt nothing like it.

I only watched bits and pieces but I agree. They are so hit and miss it's frustrating. Aries/Roode put on a great match in the beginning though. The Sabin/Bully match dragged and I think the commentators didn't know what to say as they kept repeating the same thing over and over. They did take 5 seconds to acknowledge D.O.C. leaving TNA(contract/cutting roster) but saying he left A/8 because Knox didn't vote for the vice president(wftlol).

Looks like they might turn Gail Kim face or anti hero since Micki James is doing the "I'm so great" heel persona. I always like Gail and she's been consistently great.

Right right, mixed em. I hope so too. I imagine it is too close to SS to see any potential "practice" matches but who knows.

Ric Flair's daughter, Charlotte, had her first match on NXT the other night. She looks hideously fit and has her father's face, I think I have lost all erections for at least a month.

So er, TNA is apparently in DEEP financial trouble. In addition to all the releases last week, now there are reports about talent getting paid late or not at all (including Hogan which might be the most telling), and a house show this weekend had to be hastily rebooked when several wrestlers were unable to work due to a "state licensing issue" as per the official reason, but I'm guessing they probably refused to work without getting paid. We are very likely seeing the demise of the company by the end of the year barring some miraculous investor showing up to bail them out.

Yeah it is looking like ECW v.2 at this point with the money issues. In addition to that some talent have supposedly sent feelers out to WWE to see if they could get hired there. Matt Morgan is already rumored to be on his way there after his release.

I'm surprised vince ever let Matt Morgan go to begin with. Doesnt Vince have a huge boner for 7 ft built monsters?

I have a hunch though it will never be admitted to that Morgan being gay had a bit to do with it. When you got guys like JBL that like to shit up locker rooms over stupid stuff....

Indeed it was, so much awesome. Best match in a while I would say, I really hope to see them wrestle more. Bryan went on to wrestle a 4th match (dark) too, against the Shield with Henry and Cena. He is a monster. Also every other raw is a nip slip these days. Almost takes you back to the good ol days of chair shots to the head.
