Seriously? That was a fantastic Cena promo.

I was surprised at how good the Cena promo was. I was not expecting him to slap Bryan like that. Was good to see Natalya get a win, although the ref botched the first tap.

The comment preceded this moment, but this sounded like the usual "HLR, Universe this and that, Critics, and rebuttal to 'doesn't wrestle' with 'wrestled with the best of the business'" speech. The exception is when he used the charity events example, but that came off as weird in relation to typical promo expectations.

Cena's elbow is really fucked up which is why he's not wrestling till summerslam and then he will be taking time off after the match to let it rest and heal. Either Bryan will win and keep, or Orton cashes in at some point for the heel turn. Either way, Cena will not retain it seems

Yeah, that football elbow was pretty grody to look at a couple weeks back. Suppose this bodes well for Cena haters. I personally hope DB wins, Orton tries to cash in, but fails. Can get a feud of that for a bit, but it'd be the exclamation point to DB's push.

So Darren Young came out as gay last night in an interview with TMZ. Not counting Pat Patterson who came out after he retired, I think this makes the first openly gay wrestler on the WWE Roster?

Kanyon was openly gay during his time there I believe but it wasn't publicized. (I don't think TMZ existed back then.) I've also read rumors that Justin Roberts (RAW ring announcer) is gay and that Lillian Garcia and Trish Stratus had a thing going on a few years ago.

Not to get lost in the hoopla over SummerSlam, but the WWE 2k14 panel video is a must see, because Jim Ross and Ric Flair are SHIT-FACED throughout the entire thing, and it gets super embarrassing. At one point Stephanie McMahon finally comes out and has Ric Flair removed from the stage and apologizes to everyone, yeah, it was bad.
