Think it was because he got lucky(kind of) and tore his ACL shortly after that so he was out of action for a year and they tend not to release people when they are injured unless they do something really stupid. He only returned to action about a month or two ago so they could very well have planned this change by then especially when Sin Cara stopped a match because he hurt his finger on live tv.

These things are rigged, half the winners got booed by the crowd which doesn't seem right for something crowds vote on. That said, it's a damn joke that Rock/Cena II is even on the list considering it was one of the worst matches of WM, if not the entire year. Hell, the crowd certainly isn't happy at all with that one.

End of the show was the best part. From Cena pushing Bryan, Ziggles and Punk to the Punk/HHH setup to Bryan kneeing HBK in the face... best part by far.

Yeah that ending was solid. Cena standing with the authority was interesting, but I highly doubt it means a heel turn. Very good job by everyone involved.

Watching the ending right now. If Daniel Bryan doesn't get his redemption storyline then Idk whats wrong with WWE. In a ring that contains HBK and Bret Hart a Daniel Bryan chant starts without him lifting so much as a finger. Everybody wants Daniel Bryan vince, get that through your head.

Segment involving Cena and Orton and the Daniel Bryan chants continue. Jesus, you can't tell me this guy doesn't sell. I know it's his hometown crowd but still.

Also Christian sighting. Wheres he been O_o

Edit: Damn son, that's how you end a pre-PPV show. WWE hasn't done it so well in a long long time. Makes me wonder if by the laws of "lose on Raw, win on PPV" if Orton will win this sunday though.

Loved the setup for Punk/HHH. And too bad I expect HBK to stick to his retirement or there could've been a couple great matches with him and Punk and Bryan.

I also like that the 4 giants in the room (Khali, Henry, Show, and Kane) all went to stop Cena and only a few people held back Orton.

Also gotta say I miss the heel Orton who DDT'd Stephanie and kissed her instead of the whiny Orton who is crying about accidentally knocking her over and getting Pedigree'd for it.

And final edit: backstage reports are saying the votings were actually legit. Go figure.

Not enough people for heel orton to troll, and the fans aren't really getting over on Orton anyway. This champ series with him is just a filler placeholder anyway. Daniel Bryan is freakin OVER, though. Good grief, and now Vince has two failed PVPs post-Bryan that he can't blame on Daniel being "undersized".

Idk if I'd consider TLC a failed PPV just yet. That Raw ending will have pushed many buys. The Orton/Cena match should be great because it's TLC. Not sure where the rest of the stipulations are though. With the amount of Tag teams currently around, they're begging to have a multi team ladder match for the tag titles. They should've made the IC match a tables match too.

Daughter and I are going to be at the Smackdown taping tonight, hopefully some of that end of show momentum keeps up tonight. After the way RAW ended I have much higher hopes than I did a week ago.

I think it's stupid how they're trying to hype the unification, like it's the first time it's been done. They keep hyping that we will never see these two titles again... they said that last time when they unified the championship; but I guess if it happened more than a year ago it's never happened before in the history of WWE. WWE does seem to make it a habit of setting up Wrestlemania story lines at the Slammy awards. What was it the last like 3 years they put the seed down for Undertaker's opponent or something like that. I'm assuming it will be similar this time around with HBK only coming out of retirement for Wrestlemania, Punk and HHH should be a good one.

Oh and I have serious doubts that the voting on all of the Slammy categories was legit. There is no way in hell Stephanie won. Hell the crowd boo'd a lot of the "winners" you would think a crowd voted award would be supported by the crowd. These "awards" are pretty stupid anyway, I really don't see the point of them. If they're going to build a story line just build the damn thing the way it's always been done. Nobody gives two shits about a Slammy award,

So you wanna tell me that the fans picked the BELLAS over AJ? They were booed out of the building basically when they came out to receive the Slammy, it was embarrassing.
And of course, the reality show probably helps them a lot, and the fact that the people in the arena booed them doesn't mean jack shit compared to the overall votes, but still... who the hell voted for them haha.

As for Cena/Rock, I can understand it.... all the little kids and moms voted for John, hence the easy win despite it being a horrible match.

In the RAW pre-show on WWE.com they gave out a bunch of awards, including the "YOU STILL GOT IT! *clap-clap-clapclapclap*" award to Goldust. Totally deserved.

He looks a lot better than many of the younger stars(Cody included IMHO).
