Correction...a fucking awesome role, in an amazing movie...and it was BRASS BODY.

I assume his role in Guardian's will be decent since Drax is a main character.

Anyone familiar with FWE(family wrestling entertainment)? Apparently John Morrison is their champ and they have a bunch of TNA stars and others involved. Seems like a lot of star power, but cheap production value.

So...Sting vs Taker at Mania seems like its closer to happening this time around.

Edit I've only ever seen match results of FWE on the wrestling observer site. Morrison has been with them for a while.

It doesn't help that their world champ is SO weak. Magnus has a lot of potential both in ring and on the mic but this chickenshit champion gimmick doesn't work if you have literally 10 guys interfering on your behalf all the time.

That's literally why I stopped watching TNA for a bit. Every show kept ending with ridiculous interfering in attempts to replicate the NWO magic through all these factions, not knowing that shit got annoying too during the 90's.

About all the Batista talk according to CM Punk and a number of different sites he signed a long term deal not short term. Reports I've seen said it was for two years with time off during the media blitz period as needed for GotG.

Well, Brock's been on the pay roll for a while now, too, but it doesn't really stop him from being around for like a month and then disappearing for 2-3.

Think it's might be more in line with the type of deal RVD signed if anything with being able to take time off to focus on other endeavors after a certain period of time but no clue really other than it is a multi year deal going by the interview CM Punk gave.

So the original Mistico/Sin Cara appeared on a Mexican talk show today and confirmed that he has been released by WWE. He also claimed that he owns the rights to the Sin Cara character which I find HIGHLY doubtful...there's no way Vince's lawyers would let that one slip out?

Heard something similar but it was just the rights to it within Mexico. Not sure how true that is either but he does have a Sin Cara Gym down there apparently.

Some respite for TNA. They have reached a deal with Universal to do TV/PPV tapings in March and April in Orlando.

I'm really curious to know if Sting's exit is kayfabe or what. There was a story about Kurt Angle on Bleacher Report today speculating his return, but they state he probably wouldn't clear a physical. He'd likely end up being a trainer on NXT. Either way, his presence alone would be a greater contribution than many on the roster currently. I'd be more excited for Kharma to return for the rumble than 2/3 of the people involved.

With the Royal Rumble taking place this weekend, we are officially on the road to WrestleMania XXX. As of this week, here are the matches that are scheduled to take place at WrestleMania:

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. Batista
* The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
* John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
* CM Punk vs. Triple H
* Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

The John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt match was first pitched in the fall but was later scrapped when WWE aligned Bryan with the Wyatt Family. After that angle was abruptly cut short after a matter of weeks, the Cena vs. Wyatt match is now back on.

Of course, plans can change in the next month or two, but as of this week, these are the top 5 matches planned for WWE’s biggest show of the year.

Still looking like a Batista rumble win folks.

Orton vs Batista zzzzzzzz

Taker vs Brock. Not my top choice for taker but its been heavily rumored for a long time so I guess I can accept it.

Sheamus vs Bryan. Also starting to accept Bryan not getting a big spotlight lol. So a feud with a heel Sheamus may be okay, but it'll be their 3rd wrestlemania match.

Punk vs HHH. Probably one of the better matches on the list. Punk needs to win this time though.

Cena vs Bray Wyatt. Wat? Wyatt is nowhere near Cena's level and this is the biggest WM ever. Cena needs someone better than this,

I'm ok with Batista. Really would've liked to see even a rumored Taker vs. Sting. I know, they both old blah blah, but Sting can still cut a great promo and it would be interesting to watch the build up.

So who do you think is gonna show up as surprise entrants in the Rumble match this year? Bad News Barrett said on Twitter he gave up his spot in the match for a Legends Spot, and left one hint, "Voodoo". Papa Shango maybe? I imagine Sheamus will be returning from injury in the match. Maybe Christian too. Then of course there is the months long rumor about Jake Roberts. Maybe RVD is ready to come back.

Not gonna lie, there is a part of me that hopes Steve Blackman shows up from wherever he disappeared to and whacks everyone with kendo sticks like old times.
