According to a source confirming here at Wrestlezone, the situation with CM Punk is NOT a work and is not part of future storylines.

Furthermore, Prowrestling.net has posted comments from a fan who attended the Comic Con in Portland this past weekend, where CM Punk was taking questions from the fans. Here is what Punk had to say on some hot topics.

- He was asked about Batista and Punk said he and "Dave" are good friends, but was upset that he is getting to main event WrestleMania XXX. He went on to say that it is "Daniel Bryan's year."

- He also is quoted in saying "I show up. Someone tells me what to do and I just go out there and do it." This is a response on his thoughts on the current product. It should be noted that he was very friendly with the fans and answered questions honestly and with a sense of seriousness.

Might be that Punk was okay with Batista coming back because he signed a long contract or whatever. But he might still not be happy with him getting an instant RR win and WM title shot.

Former WWE champion Matt Hardy was arrested at a motel in Virginia earlier this month ... after allegedly getting into a fight with his wrestler wife ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Just look at the mug shots of Hardy and 27-year-old Reby Sky -- both appear bloody and scratched up.

Hardy has multiple scratch marks all over his face and Sky -- real name Rebecca Hardy -- appears to be sporting a fat lip, black eye and several small cuts on her face.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports ... cops raced to the Hampton Inn in Emporia, VA on January 1st around 5:45 AM after someone at the hotel call 911.

During the 911 call, obtained by TMZ Sports, the hotel staffer told the operator ... "A guest just came down here and said somebody's beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something."

When cops arrived to the scene, both Matt and Sky were arrested for assault and battery. They were released on $3,500 bail.

Our sources tell us both Matt and Sky got restraining orders against each other.

Since the incident, both Matt and Reby have posted photos of each other -- and it appears they are still together and going strong.

Tempted to send this to my niece and laugh at her because she's a Hardy fan.

Thought Matt had turned a corner after his marriage. I guess not.

He's in the same boat at Jeff. Both cons who can't go outside the US. I remember last summer during the height of the ROH vs SCUM feud, they did a TV taping in Toronto and I kept shouting where the hell is Matt Hardy lol. Their key guy wasn't able to physically be at the taping to promote his upcoming world title match. TNA in the same boat with Jeff when it comes to their yearly UK tour.

Don't blame Punk for being frustrated. Especially if it's about Batista coming back and getting an instant RR win + WM main event slot, the last thing Punk really wanted to achieve in the WWE.

It's a shame, but Vince has been blind for about a decade and a half now so what can you do. Don't expect to see a championship around DB's waist anytime soon, either.

Hard to know what is what right now, with him not talking. I have also read that Vince wants him in the a WM main event, that it is Mr. H's that is changing that up.

Wouldn't surprise me seeing as Batista is HHH's biffle. Funny how hes back in main event for WM and his other buddies NAO are tag champs

According to The Wrestling Observer, Seattle was not the original site for WWE's May 4th Extreme Rules PPV, which is good indication that the company might be building the PPV around Daniel Bryan and the response he will get from his hometown Washington crowd. The decision was said to have been made by WWE about 2 weeks ago.

I've given up on DB wrestlemania moment but dare we hope for better after?

TNA's "mystery investor" is MVP. I never watched him in WWE, but I'm sure this will zzzzzz with most. I'm thrilled! Hopefully TNA will go bust and Angle will come back!

Looks like the Royal Rumble crowd and CM Punk walking out has put a wrench in all WWE plans. At this point the only Mania match that seems locked is Cena vs Bray Wyatt. There have been talks of Lesnar vs Batista and putting DB in the WWE title match.

Do the right thing WWE.
