Just caught up on WM and all that. Wow the streak broke.
DB the champ finally though yay!
King of Swing!
Surprised they made Cesaro a Heyman guy. Thought he was gonna be turning face soon. Hope this works out better for him than it did for Rybaxl though.
WWE is really embracing the idea of tweeners again I think. Not that a post mania crowd is the best indicator, but Wyatt, Barrett, and Heyman (when he came out for Cesaro) all got cheered.
It's been a while since they've had anyone who could do it well. Eddie was probably the best at it, along with Jericho. CM Punk could have crucified someone live and they would have cheered him, so I don't think he could really count.
Rewatching some of last night, the crowd singing "John Cena sucks" during the match is amazing.
So, I haven't watched RAW yet, but was there live...camera right behind JBL in the second row. This crowd was fucking amazing. The "John Cena Sucks" chants to his music were fucking phenomenal. My friends and I were on Bourbon Street earlier that day at lunch and two of our friends aren't wrestling fans and just came for the experience. They watched that youtube video of the phone prank that morning show did with Cena's music...so they were doing that...constantly. (they're radio dj's...so they think they're hilarious.)
In the restaurant, people were already doing that when they would do the music. It was great. So once the music hit and I heard that chant, I knew that was gonna catch on too. The crowd doing Cesaro's music was awesome...but the "We the people" chants during his match with Swagger was kinda dumb. lol
The Wyatt's were super over...the "Got the whole world" and "Wyatt's gonna kill you" chants were fun. Bray was really playing up to the crowd after they went to break...you could tell he just loved it.
Super amazing weekend...gonna watch RAW tonight and see how it came across on TV.
The fuck. Apparently Ultimate Warrior is dead. No details atm. Looked fine yesterday...
Not 100% but theres word that Ultimate Warrior has passed away.
edit:
It's on WWE.com now
I don't see it mentioned yet in the thread, but Undertaker suffered a severe concussion during his match with Brock.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/26934095After losing at WrestleMania 30 on Sunday night, The Undertaker was rushed to hospital with a head injury.
The wrestler suffered a "severe concussion", WWE has confirmed on their official website.
Details of how exactly The Undertaker sustained his injury have not been revealed.
"Following last's night historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center," said a WWE statement.
"After a CT scan and other medical testing, he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and was kept overnight for further evaluation."
It added: "He was discharged early Monday afternoon."
That's fucking crazy! Buries the hatchet with WWE after years, gets inducted into the HOF, does a promo where he thanks the fans on the following Raw, and then just dies?
EDIT: Just rewatched his promo last night. Dude was talking about final heartbeat and final breath with being immortalized by people talking about him after he's long passed. Fucking cryptic as hell in hingsight. I wonder if he had some terminal illness he kept under wraps?
I am utterly shocked right now...
Jesus Christ. Just watched the RAW replay and had a good smile on my face from Warrior's promo. Now he's gone. So fucked up.
I'm just shocked. Just so sudden and he looked pretty Damn good for 54. I'm just glad now he finally buried the hatchet with Vince now.
Its like he finally accomplished all he wanted and that was it.
Holy crap. So freaky I swear.
Rewatching his HOF induction and dude literally corrects himself from "I was a good guy" to "I am a good guy."
