Think its someone we don't know.
TNA Impact spoilers for tomorrow.
Spoiler: show
So, I know someone who was backstage at RAW from 1 p.m. till the show was over. Flair was there the entire time, never drank a drop. Sat out in the arena for four or five hours just talking to a friend he brought with him and Mark Henry/Cesaro/Swagger...then backstage and watched RAW with the boys in the screening room. I think people are just taking his normal swagger mannerisms and attributing some of his just general old age to drunkness. But he was legit straight, person I know even talked to him extensively.
He must have taken one too many blows to the head then. My wife hates wrestling, she tolerates it for me and I showed her the video of that segment and she immediately thought he was long gone.
He's been a part of some of those PPV panels they do fairly recently and he still seemed to be in one piece. If he had been acting like that recently they wouldn't have let him anywhere near a camera.
Spoiler: show
Honestly, I stopped bothering with TNA after they let the A&8s storyline go to shit and made Magnus champion, with Dixie thinking she can play the HHH role as the evil authority.
Sigh, it's a shame too, I was getting into the company's stuff during the months when A&8s ran strong, hell, even during the storyline with the Mafia I was still sorta kinda interested... then they just burned it all to hell.
I watched the impact like 2 weeks ago (the one following EY getting the title) and it really is just painful right now.
WWE just had a bearded underdog win the title? We should do that. WWE is having the authority figure inject himself into the title picture? What a great idea!
Also, this spot from the PPV is just lol.

It's sad because alot of the in ring work is really solid, but it gets drowned out by extreme levels of Russoing
The director is just as much at fault for that botch as the ref is. If they had the right camera angle, the audience at home would have never known better...though the live audience would probably be questioning why the ref just had a seizure, or something.
At least the TNA Knockouts division is pretty solid. The men have a fuckton of talent but the management, along with creative, are just absolutely pathetic. I feel like if they're not recycling storyline after storyline, hurrdurr faction #8 attempting to take over the company, they're literally ripping off WWE.
I've watched TNA regularly since they first got the Spike deal but it's getting harder and harder to stomach some of the content. WWE is no better at some of the stuff they do. Wrestling in North America is just beyond stale for a long time it seems.
Dude someone needs to shop in king hippo's flop from Punch out over the ref. That's all I see.
What a sore loser. The fans rejected him so he's all mad and leaving early.PWInsider.com is reporting that Batista is not scheduled for any events past this weekend after WWE Extreme Rules. WWE knew that he would be taking some time off to promote "Guardians of the Galaxy," but him leaving so soon has come as a surprise to many.
The original plans for Daniel Bryan were to face Batista at WWE Payback in June. Batista apparently turned that down, as he felt losing to someone so small would not help him be remembered when he returns to the company. He also felt that it would not be good for his movie promotions.
Since this was the plan for WWE and Batista turned it down, there are no further plans for him at this moment, which is why Batista is leaving earlier than expected. There is no word on what this does to Evolution, but "The Animal" is expected to be back before SummerSlam.
Eh, I'd probably be a bit pissed if I had plans pulled out from under me, too. That said, it's certainly more WWE's fault for making those plans than it is Batista for agreeing to them. So, thanks, Punk?
You can pin it on Punk, but I think the audience was a way bigger factor in it. Even if Punk fought HHH at Mania, the audience response would've forced WWE into putting Bryan in the title match. All Punk did is give Bryan an even bigger win on HHH before the title.
Well, I see Punk's move as more of a reaction to the stupid shit the WWE was pulling at the time. Bryan was hot. They'd been fucking him over a while. Then they get the bright idea of repeating last year's fiasco with a part-timer winning the belt? Bluntly, it doesn't matter who that part-timer would've been, the fans would've been pissed.
Right now, it's still a bit to early to see how they'll handle DB with the belt. His RL having its highs and lows hasn't exactly helped his public showings, either.
Oh, yeah. I thought you meant Punk leaving was the only reason Bryan got the title. Which I don't think is true. The audiences made it happen.
The thing is, part timer winning last year worked because it was the Rock. Batista is no Rock and WWE made the mistake of thinking the same thing would work with him.
Pretty much the same sadly. Vince just needs to throw some money at Dicksy already so we can have AJ Styles, Roode, Samoa Joe in WWE imo. I'd love to see Styles go up against the likes of RVD, or even Cesaro. Samoa Joe could wrassle with Bray Wyatt.
Dreaming out loud I guess. Need sleep. But still dreaming out loud.
Since almost none of those guys work for TNA anymore that could happen but won't. AJ was a free agent for 4 months before signing in Japan. Joe has taken a "leave" from TNA, but he might leave. Christopher Daniels just got cut as did Kazarian. WWE probably isn't interested in any of them anyway because of their age and perceived worth.
