The operation Bryan needs is supposed to be relatively minor (as minor as neck surgery gets anyways) and his recovery is ideally only 2 or so months. If it's in that range they can very easily work it like when Punk was injured and keep him the champ and on TV

This Evolution vs Shield angle will print them more and more money the longer they keep it fresh and evolving. I hope to god they don't can this storyline before Summerslam, I wanna hear the Evolution theme song when I go this August.

Didn't watch all of Raw, but I think Bryan needs some coaching on the mic. I like him wrestling and all, but he's not polished yet overall. He also can stop doing the YES!!! chant and let the crowd handle it for him.

Would have been odd to post without subtitles but here is a good summary.

>There was a really cool deal that aired over the weekend on the Japanese TV show “Knight Scoop,” a variety show. The segment was about a 97-year-old woman who has loved pro wrestling dating back to the days of Rikidozan. She’s now in Hospice Care and she passes the time watching pro wrestling DVDs. Her favorite stuff now is the comedy Dragon Gate matches, particularly Gamma and Yosuke Santa Maria (who dresses up like a woman). Even though she’s been a fan for 60 years, she had never attended a live match. There are times when they think she is going to go into a coma, but the nurses put in a wrestling DVD and she opens her eyes and starts watching. The segment then showed Santa Maria and Gamma dressed up like doctors coming to the Hospice care facility, but at first she didn’t recognize them. Eventually she did. Then they opened the blinds and showed in the back yard, a wrestling ring was set up. They wheeled her and the other people living there to the ring and several of the wrestlers did a tag match, mostly comedy spots, but they did dives. They also gave her a whip to whip Gamma, who sold it big. They showed her all thrilled touching the ring post and the ring for the first time and reacting to near falls and such.

Bryan's surgery was a success, already walking again with a soft neck brace on. Doctors said expected full recovery time for an average person is 2-3 months, not sure what that means for Bryan. He'll probably be out until SummerSlam per the early reports.

There is a live event in my town in July, looks like he won't be back in time for that, which sucks. I'll probably get another Cena main event. *sigh*

Son of a bitch, if Cena walks in/out of Summerslam as champion again, I will rage.
The title better default back to Orton or something... I doubt anyone is interested in a Cena title feud unless it ends with Wyatt taking it from him.

Sigh... where is CM Punk when you need him.

Raw probably going to be crazy tonight. Putting belts on Paige/Sheamus/BNB likely going to pay off for some serious crowd pops. Hopefully they won't edit the crowd too much since it will taped.

Great interview with Jim Ross. Don't let the fact that it is an hour long put you off...it really flies by and he tells some good stories. His recounting of the night Owen died was pretty chilling.

that Cesaro vs Henry angle was terrible. I was pumped when he became a Heyman guy, but it's been awful so far.
