I wasn't referring to days as a reigning champ, but more so him emulating Superman and he must overcome everything. I do get it, how if it's going to be a short reign don't let a new guy get stuck with it, but then again if it's going to be Lesnar in the title hunt a Cesaro vs. Lesnar feud could've been money.

Unless they want to completely undermine Taker's loss Bork is gonna have to be unbeatable until at least next Wrestlemania, maybe RR at the earliest. Cena can afford being fed to Lesnar, no other faces or potential faces (I'd imagine Cesaro and Heyman are breaking up soonish) on the roster could really take the whupping without losing momentum.

I could see Cesaro as a contender against Brock sometime later in the year, but only as a standby feud until Bryan (or Cena, because Cena) starts a feud with him for Mania.

There are a lot of differences between Hogan on top in the 80s and Cena on top the last ten years. Mostly it boils down to this.
Hogan's formula:
Bad guy attacks Hogan or one of Hogan's friends. Hogan swears revenge. Hogan spends next few months on the house show circuit against bad guy in tag team matches, matches ending in DQ or countout. Finally, on a Saturday Night's Main Event Hogan will face off against the bad guy. The bad guy will either a.) injure Hogan severely or b.) defeat Hogan by DQ or countout. Then Hogan either sat out his "injury" for a couple months, or they continued going on a house show run for a couple more months with screwy finishes. Finally, many, many months after their feud began, Hogan and the bad guy meet on a pay-per-view where Hogan finally triumphs over evil and sends everyone home happy.
Cena's formula:
Bad guy attacks Cena or one of Cena's friends on RAW. Cena swears revenge. Cena then spends the next 2-3 weeks against bad guy in tag team matches where the matches end in a DQ, or in some cases Cena beats them clean as a sheet. In the very, very rare event that Cena is bested either physically or verbally, he comes back the next week downplaying it and making poop jokes about the bad guy. Finally, after 3-4 weeks of build up, they fight at the pay-per-view where CENAWINSLOL and the cycle begins anew the next night on RAW. On occasions when star power is lacking on the roster, they will sometimes stretch this formula out over 2-3 months worth of pay-per-views with the same bad guy, but the result is always the same, CENAWINSLOL.

And yeah would love to see a Cesaro push been a fan since before he was teamed with Swagger. He needs to dump the Walrus though. Still pissed about that after WM.

Well, seems I was pretty much right on the choice of Cena win. Also in general agreement the other new guys in the match last night aren't really ready for the belt, and arguably Kane and Orton's roles have grown stale. Kinda surprised it's taken this long for Swagger and Rusev to meet up given Zeb's gimmick with him. Guess they wanted to test Big E's MLK impression first. Anyway, I figure Cena will retain at next PPV just to preserve the DB match at SS. Really don't want to see Lesnar back, as him getting the belt(s) would honestly agitate me more than Rock getting it as a part-timer, and not in the heel hate way, but in the "way to fuck your fans and full-timers" kind of way. Maybe he could fight Cesaro, but it's still a fight I wouldn't really care for.

I'm pretty sure 4 year title reigns probably included a lot of Superman time.
