Swerve?
Main event was lame for a "Counts anywhere" match imo. Then again, I've been watching older screenings where they throw people on top of sound equipment that sparks lol.

Fuck yes Punk with Heyman.
And as usual, the Kane and Bryan segments were hilarious. And the whole hug thing? Genius lol.
Yeah Heyman at the end had me ?!?!'ing. I missed the first 2 hours though due to company being over. I too was happy to not hear King. I watched Yugl's posted video earlier in the day and I was amazed at how intense it was before. I missed the majority of wrestling from 97-05 so basically the best era. I'd love to be able to watch all the weekly episodes for nostalgia purposes.
Also, seeing 3D going crazy, head butt into the balls, "GET THE TABLE", damnit I miss them.
Both Devon and Bubba Ray or sorry "Bully Ray"s contracts are apparently expiring soon in TNA, so they could very possibly go back to WWE. Devon has been saying theres been issues with negotiating or something like that and has been teasing about leaving. He also posted this picture of himself on twitter wearing a WWE tshirt.

Devon officially parted ways with TNA within the last few days. Him and Bubba are in fantastic shape, Devon especially, did you see him in lately? If Bubba leaves as well, which all signs are pointing to him doing so, WWE would be stupid to let them get away. Their tag division is so horrible, bringing in one of, arguably, the best tag teams WWE has ever had would be fantastic. Plus I've heard rumors that the Motor City Machine Guns(Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin) were being courted for WWE contracts as well. Even if they don't capitalize on them as a tag team, they'd be great for bolstering their cruiserweight division, should that actually come to fruition.
Twitter is the new place to try and swerve everyone. However Bubba has said that TNA had to sign both or neither. From what I gathered is TNA was probably going after Bubba more so than Devon and they both felt that wasn't fair. I would love to see both back in the WWE with HHH wanting to focus more on Tag Teams. There's a lot of talent out there to make it work well.
I missed most of the late 2000 era, so can anyone explain what this TNA and Nexus business is about (Surprised Angle is there since I remember seeing a clip about him bringing the title "back")? There also seems to be a period where they completely revamped the show's roster because Jericho and The Rock have clips where they return in "meet" the new people.
And why does it seem like everyone's a freaking champion!?
Gotta love Daniel Bryan... This is a video from this week's SD taping, so if you want to wait for the show tonight I suggest you wait with it. I love how he calmly replies with "no" to the fans now though, it's genius.
God the whole banning of moves shit is so dumb
So ADLs armbar which has "injured" numerous wrestlers is ok, but the brogue kick which injured a "personal announcer" is bad? Who writes this garbage?
"kicking someone in the head is a criminal act"
Isnt that what wrestling is?!?
They should have Otunga use the kick. They really need to use his character better considering his shape.
Yeah I don't get what they're doing lately with characters. And trying to ban the Brogue Kick, or any move? lol? Having Sandow run away from another match was retarded as well. Prime Time Players again? Should've been the Uso's. Only thing entertaining to me was D. Bryan being a crazy person.
I watched TNA Thursday and I have to say, the writing is better. The wrestling at times is awkward, but it's like they really care about who they face, what's at stake, etc. And their "Bound For Glory" tournament with points is a great idea. Gives purpose to what they're doing. Not ADR being #1 for WHC three times. Or Cena two times, or Prime Time Players three times in a row. The thing that made me lol was watching RVD. I've never been much of a fan of his, and watching him perform an extremely awkward Rolling Thunder on Bubba Ray where he had to move into position so RVD would actually hit it wasn't entertaining.
The problem is that TNA grabs the garbage talent from WWE. They make a big deal out of Chavo Guerrero, and expect people to buy into it? Even if the great Hogan says that "Chavo is hot right now", he really isn't... nor has he ever been, or ever will be, entertaining. The only time I liked Chavo was when he was tagging with Eddie as Los Guerreros, and as Kerwin White.
Chavo not entertaining? Can see you didn't watch some WCW. If you didn't love Crazy Chavo with his pet horse Pepe, well I just don't know. I also loved when he was to wrestle twice in one night at like a Bash at the Beach and submitted to a Handshake from Stevie Ray to end the first match instantly.
Wwe buried the shit out of chavo
Chavo was cool back in the day I just never saw him as a headliner, awesome sidekick to Eddie though.
Chavo was destroyed, ironically enough, by Eddie. After the team broke-up they had their blowoff match at Royal Rumble '04 in what should have been a 20 minutes or more classic where Chavo broke out of the shadow of his uncle Eddie and got a signature win. (Think Bret vs. Owen at WrestleMania 10) Instead, it was an 8 minute Chavo beatdown and he was made to look like a chump. Eddie was already set to win the WWE title the next month from Brock Lesnar anyway; there was no reason for Chavo to not get the win.
Eddie even destroyed Chavo in death. Eddie's death could have given Chavo the sympathy push of the decade to the top, but because of the way he had been handled in the past nobody took him seriously, and instead the sympathy push went to Rey Mysterio. And once Vickie came on the scene and became the heat machine that she is, there was nothing else for Chavo to do besides stand in the background.
Daniel Bryan is pure fucking gold at everything he does for somebody everyone said had no charisma.
Arcade Fire adds charisma to anyone!
