Nah, it was a pretty dumb way to down Ambrose. Really, they just mirrored AJ getting hairsprayed, but with a TV. Just would've been more appropriate to have him try some other ladder jump in the ring, but fuck it up.
Oh! I forgot. Obligatory:

Posting this from phone to my bucket so hope this works.
Probly one of the better pics I took, a few came out blurry. Overall a decent enough show that my 11 year old cousin thoroughly enjoyed for his first live event as a birthday present which is all that mattered for me.

I was kinda hoping he would lose. Then Seth would put his MitB shot on the line against Cena bringing back The Authority.
That and he needs more stamina. It didn't seem to take long for him to get winded.
Nah, it just means they'll have another match after that. Don't forget about "Once in a lifetime."
I thought it was great, easily one of the best matches of the night. Not sure I understand the hate with Ziggler winning. it was his hometown after all and it's not like he doesn't deserve it. I imagine the feud between them will continue.
I was quite disappointed with the AJ-Nikki match. WWE has been squashing her since the CM Punk interview. Back and forth with Paige was one thing, but now she's barely put in any offense. Do they not realize/care that making AJ look weak doesn't help make Nikki look like a strong champion?
AJ is supposedly leaving so if that's true I'm sure they don't much care how they make her look on her way out.
My problem with the ending is probably a larger scale issue with how they book Wyatt. The guy started the year with a clean win over hot as shit Bryan, but all his big solo matches since the WWE just refuses to let him get a clean victory. When his character needs constant outside interference to win a match (Cena feud) or needs something dumb like an exploding TV to pick up a victory it just consistently makes him look weak.
It's an issue with psychological characters. Aside from a brief Daniel Wyatt window, all of Bray's excellent mic work has been for nothing. He abducted Kane to no resolve, the abducted Miz to no resolve, Cena rose above the hate just like he did before...
Wyatt doesn't need to win to get over, but not letting him have any sort of impact character-wise is worse than just making him lose. Not being a physical threat is fine, but as they book him he's not even a mental one, which is the crux of his character.
The reason why I'm surprised at Ziggler winning is it can make Harper look weak. He essentially needed the Authority to get the title and now that they are gone, he lost it. Yes, he looked great in the match, but I feel him losing hurts him more than it would hurt Ziggler if he lost, especially if the match essentially went the same way with it coming to whoever got the last hit in while climbing the ladders.
Both Harper and Rowan lost. Maybe they will go back to Bray Wyatt. They are not working as singles competitors thus far.
Harper was in by far the best match of the night and logic doesn't apply to the booking when Big Show gets involved.
They're both fine as they are.
I'm not behind the Rowan "He's a bully" thing. All heels are bullies. That's their thing. I'm really not sure what would advance Rowan at this point. The WWE bookers splitting up groups with no storyline behind it hurts all involved. One week the Wyatts were together. The next Harper was IC champ, and a week later, Harper was on team Authority, and Rowan was Team Cena.
You got part of that backward. Harper joined Team authority and got awarded a title shot the next week.
Rowan also didn't have a storyline until the the whole survivor series angle started, and considering all the writers apparently went on break after that PPV it's not surprising you might think he's stagnated.
Matt Striker will be co-commentator with JR for NJPW's WK9 English broadcast.
Hell yeah Y2J trying to say Fandango's name again.
Inc Y2J beatdown at the hands of Lesnar.
Okay who did Erik Rowan piss off? Almost squashed a minute into his first appearance in the match.
He's on the bad end of booking. Gotta make Show look strong so after Roman beats him in a likely awful match he looks that much stronger.
Wait, when did Smackdown start airing on Tuesday?
