Finally got around to watching Wrestle Kingdom 9. It was great to hear JR calling a show. Even Stryker was more enjoyable than all of WWE's cast. I really enjoyed the camera work when the wrestlers would come down the ramp. The matches were great. I would rather watch that product than WWE any day.

Well starting Friday you can watch it for a total of 13 weeks complete with english commentary though not by JR and Striker.

Friday night the NJPW show debuts on AXS TV for an initial 13 episode run featuring the best matches of the company from 2013 and 2014. So not quite a weekly show like Raw but it's better than nothing. And the first episode features Okada vs. Tanahashi once again for the IWGP title but this time from Wrestle Kingdom 7.

It's good to see Macho Man get some recognition from WWE after all these years. I'd love to see Lanny come in for it all and use his Genius gimmick and befriend Sandow with his old gimmick. They could be best friends.

With how Lanny has reacted before to talk about Savage going in I'd be surprised if he gets the induction call. Probably give it to someone like Steamboat. Maybe Flair but Steamboat would be safer as you never know what kind of condition Flair will be in at these things.

And apparently despite the love-hate relationship they've had over the years Hogan will be the one inducting Savage

Lanny is an interesting case. For a long time he said he would only do it if WWE inducted the whole family. Then he said the WWE could do whatever they wanted, just leave him out of it. Then he starts showing up as a talking head on the WWE Network and on the Randy Savage documentary. So by the time April rolls around maybe he would be doing the induction.
