I actually was surprised to see Cena get the victory, was just about to turn it off and then they pulled the ol' switcheroo. Can't say I like the way they did it, but it was an exciting finish to the match. The back and forth between Punk and Cena on the big moves was pretty cool, and ending on a big superplex the way they did just doesn't happen anymore, so was nice to see. Was expecting a Punk stunner after the rock bottom, however.

Cena did a german off the second rope (was gased for the past 15 min), ref counts 1-2-3, cena gets up (all of a sudden he can run sprints) and runs to get the belt and celebrate, then ref takes belt and gives it to punk and they announce both wrestlers shoulders were down so the match is a draw.

Sounds like a decent event then. I honestly expected some bland shit (Cena win, I knew team anger management would win, and am disappointed but expected no MITB cash in tbh). What were the midcard match results?

Edit: Also surprised by crowd reaction tbh.

I'd actually argue his shoulders weren't down (at least the parts that mattered for counting), they just conveniently didn't have good camera angles to further the scripting.
