This makes no sense. Didn't DA cancel TNA because sponsors didn't want to advertise during the show because it was wrestling and because the ratings were too low for them? This doesn't bother me really, unless it affects ROH being on the Sinclair owned stations during the weekends.

Have to think the intention really is to dump TNA as soon as they can. ROH will come in probably with similar ratings if not better and with much less production costs. The only downside there will be the lack of top name stars that the network might want like they had with Kurt Angle in TNA.

The issue with the ratings was the excessive production costs TNA came with as a result of their attempts to be as close to WWE level as they can get. ROH doesn't do that at least at the moment.

TNA just hired Josh Matthews and he has like 3 different job titles and he hasn't been in a ring since Tough Enough.

Davey Richards apparently wasn't a fan when they had their brief trial period there. But maybe with the deals they've been signing Samoa Joe and Rhyno to that could change.

The Jay's make sense for that promo image, but kind of surprised they went with Mark as the 3rd person, would have figured someone like Adam Cole or Elgin

That hasn't been officially stated yet but I wouldn't be surprised. ROH is apparently signed on for the next 26 weeks basically to see how it does before they make a decision on going any further with it. It definitely does show that DA wants to have wrestling program they just might not want TNA for any number of reasons.

Well Mark does look like he could fit in on any number of the current DA programs. Elgin and Cole not so much.

Also there are a ton of those images out now anyway featuring everyone from Maria to ODB to the Bullet Club's Young Bucks and Aj Styles.

And some of the TNA wrestlers aren't to happy with the news going by twitter. Not sure if because they feel it endangers TNA's standing with the network or simply because they weren't told ahead of time by management about the move as MVP stated.

After giving it some more thought, I think this whole DA/TNA/ROH thing is kinda similar to how TNN used ECW to see if wrestling would be a good fit for them before deciding to go with WWE. It looks like DA does want wrestling but just wasn't confident with TNA (not surprised TNA hasn't had a good rep for a long time, especially with the name).

I just read that new episodes of ROH will appear on the Sinclair affiliated stations first on the weekends then on DA on Wednesdays. Glad to hear that as I don't get DA here in Canada but can still watch it on MyTV or Fox's Buffalo feed and not have to worry about online spoilers.

The episode this weekend is the first TV taping from Toronto, so I'm gonna try to point myself out in the crowd lol.

They had their chance. They "wanted to be on TV" when Hunter told them he wanted to keep them in NXT they passed for TNA.
This was before the Network launch and when NXT was only on HULU I think.
I'm sure Hunter will give them another chance. Unless he can get the Young Bucks lol.

They were actually there for almost a month but had only the one televised match. It really just comes down to Davey Richards as he's made no secret of not wanting to work the full time WWE schedule.
